I remember looking at this video and thinking I didn’t look lean enough or jacked enough. Now looking at it today I’m thinking… “damn I looked good”.
The video didn’t change, so what did?!?!
MY PERSPECTIVE!!!!

It’s not about what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.

📖 JOURNAL ENTRY # 54 | THE ROAD TO PRO

Some stories are bigger than the stage they’re told on.

There’s something beautiful about watching someone become the person they once only dreamed of being.

Not because the journey was perfect. Not because everything went according to plan. But because somewhere between the sacrifices, the struggles, the uncomfortable conversations, and the moments of uncertainty… they kept believing.

Kaimana’s story is one of those stories.

Bodybuilding has a way of exposing you to yourself. It challenges your patience, your discipline, your relationships, and sometimes even your love for the very thing you started doing.

And that’s the part people don’t always see.

We see the physiques. We celebrate the victories. We applaud the moment someone earns their professional status.

But behind that moment is a human being who had to grow through things that had nothing to do with lifting weights.

As coaches, these are the stories that mean the most to us. Because our job has never been just about creating champions. It’s about helping people discover what they’re capable of becoming.

Kaimana earned his IFBB PRO CARD. But the man he became along the way is an accomplishment of its own.

So this time, we let him tell the story.

The struggles. The lessons. The journey. And the moment it all came together.

This is more than bodybuilding. This is life, told through bodybuilding.

The last few months have been some of the craziest, busiest, hardest months of my life. For a long time, I let the fear of making the wrong decision keep me from making any decision at all.

I’m learning that I don’t have to have everything figured out to let myself enjoy my life. It’s okay to make mistakes. It’s okay to feel happiness while still working through hard things. It’s okay to LIVE.

So here are some memories of me doing just that 🤍

The wrong people will think you charge too much.
The right people will see it as an investment in themselves.

The wrong people will compare equipment, bathrooms, amenities and all the things that look good on paper.
The right people know none of that can replace the energy, experience and people in the room.

The wrong people want a gym membership.
The right people want an environment that changes them.

The wrong people ask what they get for the price.
The right people ask what they’re capable of becoming here.

The wrong people are looking for the cheapest option.
The right people are looking for the place that finally gets them where they’ve been trying to go.

Because you can buy access to equipment anywhere.

You can’t buy culture.
You can’t fake community.
You can’t replicate 17 years of experience.
You can’t manufacture a room full of people who genuinely want to see you win.

We were never trying to build a gym for everyone.

We built a place for the people who want more out of themselves.

And the right people get it!!!!!

What if the goal was to build a life you actually feel good living?!?

To stop starting over
To stop punishing your body
To stop waiting until you feel ready
To eat enough to actually fuel yourself
To do something that scares you
To become someone you’re proud of
And maybe have someone believe in you until you’re able to believe in yourself

That’s what I want fitness to give people

Not a smaller body
A bigger life!!!!!

Let’s TRNSFRM your life
It’d be pretty cool 🩵 by @cassadienelson

This one makes me emotional. One of my fav transformations I’ve ever been apart of! 4.5 months…. That’s the difference between these two videos.

In February, my dad almost died. Three surgeries. 21 days in the hospital. His body went through absolute hell.

And somehow, none of it slowed him down. If anything, it lit an even bigger fire in him.

My entire life, my dad has been an example of what it looks like to take care of yourself. He lifts weights. He eats well. He stays active. He’s built a strong body for decades.. long before he ever knew just how much he was going to need it.

And THAT is what I hope people take away from this.

Lifting weights and good nutrition aren’t just about looking good. They’re about building a body that can fight for you when life hits you with something you never saw coming.

Muscle matters. Strength matters. Taking care of yourself matters!!!

I truly believe the way my dad has taken care of himself his entire life is a huge reason he’s still here today and now, just 4.5 months later, he’s back doing what he loves and kicking ass.

I’m so freaking proud of you dad!!!

The goal was never just to live longer. It’s to stay strong enough to KEEP LIVING 💚🌻

And if you’re tired of just existing instead of actually living your life, feeling strong, capable, confident and healthy enough to do the things you want to do MESSAGE ME

You don’t have to wait until something happens to realize how important your health is.

Start now. Your future self is going to need the body you’re building today! by @cassadienelson

“And they say bodybuilding is a solo sport. You must be on the wrong team.”

This weekend was bigger than what happened on stage.

We were fully involved as coaches from beginning to end, alongside every athlete, my assistant, the athletes’ partners, the family, and Sifa and Nico capturing the entire journey behind the scenes. 🎥

From the training, posing, meals, check-ins, travel, content, emotional support, and constant communication, every person played a role in making this weekend successful.

Even having Kaimana’s daughter there brought so much joy to the entire weekend and reminded us that this journey is about so much more than bodybuilding.

All of our boys showed up looking incredible. They executed an amazing prep and stepped onstage healthy, confident, and strong physically, mentally, and emotionally. As coaches, that will always be the biggest win.

A huge congratulations to Kaimana on earning his IFBB Pro Card. @mana.ancog
Wearing his @manifest_competitionwear shorts 🩳

Five years in the making. From starting as a natural athlete, winning eight shows, continuing to improve year after year, and now officially becoming an IFBB PRO.

Nothing about this happened overnight. It took years of discipline, patience, trust, sacrifice, family support, and an entire village working toward the same goal.

Bodybuilding may look like an individual sport when you step onstage, but nobody gets there alone.

It takes a village.
It takes trust.
It takes family.
It takes the right team.

Welcome to the IFBB Pro League, Kaimana. We earned this one together.

Food isn’t the enemy…

It’s fuel.
It’s recovery.
It’s medicine.
It’s performance.
It’s longevity.

If all you’re focused on is the number on the scale, you’re missing everything your body is trying to tell you.

Eat to feel good.
The body you want usually follows!!!
