This reaction needs context. TW mention of abuse

When I filmed this reaction vid to HOSAB I was days away from moving four hours from everyone I knew with someone who had made my life hell for three years.
I was packing an entire house alone, caring for three kids and six animals, while surviving a volatile and abusive relationship.
For months, I put my headphones in and disappeared into these books just to make it through another day.
Then my best friend told me to record my reaction to the ending.
So I did.
And everything I had been holding inside finally came out.
I wasn’t just crying over a book.
I was breaking.
These books gave me somewhere to escape when I couldn’t leave yet.
They saved me. ❤️‍🩹 #bookstagram #acotar #sarahjmass #feyredarling #feyredarling by @cassieinchapters
