Catskills Candle Studio is completely honored to be featured in ELLE Decor alongside eight other incredible candle shops from around the globe.

Their glowing words feel like a true testament to what we do—thoughtful craftsmanship, meaningful scents, and a little studio in The Catskills pouring with purpose. We’ve always hoped our candles would leave a lasting impression, and moments like this remind us why we started in the first place.

We just want to say thank you—for every order, visit, post, and kind word. You’ve welcomed us into your homes, and now… into ELLE Decor.

Good company. A favorite playlist. Something good cooking in the kitchen. And a candle burning somewhere in the background. Sometimes it’s the little things that make an ordinary day feel a little more special.

Amber + Vetiver is made for moments just like these. The spontaneous dinner plans, the evenings that turn into late nights and the afternoons when you have absolutely nowhere else you’d rather be.

Because a really good candle doesn’t need a special occasion.

The first Friday of October called for Pumpkin + Cardamom, and somehow, here we are on the last Friday of the month, finding ourselves right back where we started.

What an October it’s been here in The Catskills. From the incredible colors of peak foliage to the cooler mornings, winding mountain roads and everything that makes this time of year so special, it’s been a month worth holding onto just a little longer.

And now, with Halloween weekend upon us, there’s something especially wonderful about these final days of October. The last of the leaves are falling, the air is getting a little cooler and we’re finding ourselves in that beautiful space between Fall and Winter. We’re looking forward to welcoming familiar faces and meeting new ones at our Tannersville Studio as we enjoy everything this in-between season has to offer.

And while November is right around the corner, we’re not quite ready to say goodbye to October just yet.

Warm, inviting and a little indulgent, Pumpkin + Cardamom brings together everything we love about this season. Think freshly baked pumpkin bread, a little spice and the kind of warmth that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

Here’s to Halloween weekend and one last chance to savor October. Let’s make it a good one.

It’s hard to believe that nearly a month has passed since we introduced The Catskills, our third Limited Edition Candle and one that represents so much of who we are and where we come from.

Since its release, we’ve been genuinely taken aback by the response. From how quickly so many of you have welcomed it into your homes to the incredible feedback and kind words you’ve shared with us, it’s been something truly special to experience.
But then again, there’s something about The Catskills.

The winding mountain roads, the towering pines, the mist settling into the valleys and that unmistakable feeling of being somewhere that moves at its own pace. It’s a place that changes with every season, reveals something new around every turn and somehow manages to feel both wild and familiar all at once.

The Catskills was created to capture that feeling. Fresh and atmospheric with a woodsy warmth that settles in beautifully, it’s our interpretation of the landscape, the air and the place that continues to inspire everything we do.

We’ve always said that our goal is to bring a little piece of The Catskills home with you. Seeing how deeply this candle has resonated with so many of you makes that sentiment feel more meaningful than ever.

The mountain roads are covered in fallen leaves, the last bits of color are hanging on for dear life and The Catskills are settling into a slower, quieter pace. The mornings are cold, the afternoons are beautiful and the evenings? Those are made for staying in, pouring a drink and getting a little cozy.

And while we’ve already got an eye on Winter here at Catskills Candle Studio, we’re still very much enjoying everything October has to offer. Because this part of Fall deserves a little attention, too.

Vanilla + Red Cedar feels right at home in all of it. Warm, woodsy and just the right amount of sweetness. A little cozy, a little sophisticated and exactly what late October should smell like.

There’s no need to rush into the next season just yet. We’ve still got a little more of this one to enjoy.

One of the greatest things about calling Tannersville home is the incredible amount of talent that surrounds us.

There’s something really special about being part of a small mountain town filled with artists, makers, dreamers and people who pour so much of themselves into what they create. People who see beauty in the little things, find inspiration in their surroundings and remind us just how much creativity lives here in The Catskills.

One of those people is the incredibly talented Moriah Aslan Wolfe.

We’ve had the honor of working with Moriah from the beginning and she has a remarkable ability to capture not just an image, but a feeling. The warmth, the texture, the atmosphere, the little details that make something feel alive. Making our ideas a reality. Her work has a way of making you stop for a moment and really appreciate what you’re looking at.

In a world where AI generated and enhanced imagery is becoming increasingly common, there’s something especially meaningful about knowing that what Moriah creates comes from her own eye, her own hands and an extraordinary amount of passion and talent. It’s authentic, it’s thoughtful and it’s entirely hers.

As a small business with big dreams, collaborations like ours with Moriah mean more than we can really put into words. Having someone who understands what we’re building and can help bring that vision to life so beautifully is something we never take for granted.

The Catskills are full of incredibly special people doing incredibly special things. We’re lucky to call this place home, even luckier to be surrounded by this kind of talent and so grateful to have Moriah be part of our story.

Sometimes, you just need a little break.

It’s been an incredibly busy Fall here at Catskills Candle Studio and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Between weekends spent at some of our favorite Fall markets like Field + Supply, welcoming so many new and familiar faces into our Tannersville Studio, packing orders headed to homes across the country and keeping our incredible retail partners stocked, it feels like we’ve barely stopped moving.

And while we’ve been a little quieter here on Instagram than usual, we promise it’s for all the right reasons. We’ve been pouring, packing, traveling, connecting and doing our best to find a few quiet moments for ourselves somewhere in between. Because as much as we love the excitement of this season, sometimes you need to slow things down, enjoy a little bit of the quiet, pour yourself a cup of coffee… and then get right back to pouring candles.

We’re incredibly grateful for how busy you’ve kept us and for all the love you’ve shown our little candle company this Fall.

There’s something especially beautiful about The Catskills once peak foliage has passed. The season has been nothing short of spectacular. The mountains have put on quite a show, the roads have been lined with incredible color and every turn has felt like something worth slowing down for. And while the brightest days of Fall may be behind us, there’s still so much to love about what comes next.

Leaves scattered along quiet trails, the smell of the woods after a cool autumn rain, bare branches beginning to reveal the mountains beyond and that unmistakable feeling of Fall settling in for a little while longer.

It’s a different kind of Fall now. A little quieter, a little slower and somehow even cozier. The kind of days made for warm layers, long walks through the woods, evenings by the fire and scents that bring all of those feelings indoors.

And while the colors may be fading, the season is far from over. In so many ways, this is when Fall feels most like itself.
