🏀💙🧡 Help Make My Birthday Wish Come True — Send Tammy to See the New York Knicks! 🧡💙🏀

As many of you know, my birthday is November 20th, and this year there's something I would truly love to experience.

On Tuesday, November 17th, just three days before my birthday, the New York Knicks are coming to Toronto, and I would absolutely love the opportunity to be there in person.

I've always had a passion for sports, and attending a Knicks game would mean so much to me. There's nothing quite like the excitement of being in an arena, surrounded by thousands of fans, watching a team you love play live.

This year has brought its share of challenges, and like so many people, I've had to put the things I enjoy on the back burner. For my birthday, I'd love to do something special, create a wonderful memory, and enjoy a night doing something that genuinely makes me happy.

So I'm reaching out to my friends, family, and anyone who might want to help make this birthday wish possible.

I'm hoping to raise enough money for a ticket to the game and transportation to Toronto.

If you're able to contribute, even a small amount, I would be incredibly grateful. And if donating isn't possible, sharing this post would mean just as much.

💙 Donations can be sent by e-transfer to:

📧 Tammad30@gmail.com

I'm not expecting anyone to make this happen for me, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to put a wish out into the universe and see what happens.

Life is short, memories are priceless, and sometimes the best birthday gifts aren't things — they're experiences we'll remember forever.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone who helps, shares, or simply sends some positive wishes my way.

Here's hoping I get to celebrate my birthday cheering on the Knicks in Toronto! 🏀🎂💙🧡

I was 13 years old when I was raped by seven men. I was a child. And the men who did it basically got a slap on the wrist while I was left to carry what they did to me for the rest of my life.

That is why reading about the allegations involving the so-called “Group of Seven” at Cornell has affected me so deeply. It has brought me straight back to what happened to me.

And seeing men attack, mock or call out the woman involved because she wants to remain anonymous absolutely sickens me.

Do people understand what it takes for a survivor to speak at all?

There are countless reasons someone may need to be called “Jane Doe.” Fear. Shame. Trauma. Safety. Family. Work. The possibility of having strangers dissect the most horrific experience of your life on social media.

She does not owe the internet her identity.

When I hear “Jane Doe,” I don't hear a nameless woman.

I hear every woman and girl who has survived rape or sexual violence and has had to figure out how to keep living afterward.

I hear the 13-year-old girl I once was.

We are not headlines.
We are not case numbers.
We are not entertainment for social media.
We are human beings whose bodies and trust were violated.

And some of us have watched the people who hurt us face consequences that felt painfully small compared with the lifetime of consequences we were left carrying.

So before you criticize a survivor for remaining anonymous, ask yourself why you believe you are entitled to her name or her story.

You aren't.

To every Jane Doe: whether you speak publicly, remain anonymous, tell only the people closest to you, or aren't ready to tell anyone at all — your story still matters.

What happened to us does not define us.

We survived. We are still here. And we deserve dignity. ❤️

RIP Dolly Parton.

A true pioneer for women in country music. She never let men tell her no or that she couldn't do it. She knew she could and she knew she could do it well.

Not only that but one of the kindest most generous philanthropists IN THE WORLD!

There will never be another Dolly Parton. by @catsmomof8

Happy 2nd Birthday to my beautiful boys, Coco, Mimi & Charlotte! 🖤🐾🇨🇦🎆
Two years ago, on the 4th of July, three tiny kittens came into my life and filled my home with love, laughter, cuddles, and just the right amount of mischief.
Coco, Mimi, and Charlotte—you each have your own unique personality, but together you make every day brighter. Thank you for the head bumps, loud purrs, silly zoomies, and for always being there when I need a little extra love.
I hope your day is filled with your favorite treats, toys, sunny naps, and endless cuddles.
Happy 2nd Birthday, my sweet boys. Mommy loves you more than words can ever say. Here's to many more happy, healthy years together! ❤️🐈🐈🐈🎂🎉 by @catsmomof8
