What an impossibly neat thing, to get to share UCI MFA love with this fellow alum. Jenn, thank you so much for coming! It meant the world to get to perform this particular piece for you. ZOT ZOT! by @cbrookecreative_

I am SO LUCKY to have Adriana Lynn Jasso Derrah as my forever-friend! I can’t believe I get to have someone in my corner who’d drop everything and fly across the country to be with me and support me and love me when I’m going through tough stuff. I am in awe of the person you are and I’m in even greater disbelief that I get to claim you as my friend.

After she got home to Oregon, she immediately started making art inspired by Gander and our show, and sent it off to me in a just-because care package. Unbelievable. Just the coolest, kindest person. Thank you so much for showing up for me. 🥹 I am SO lucky and feel SO loved! by @cbrookecreative_

The @orlandoshakes company of Come From Away showed up big time for our CFA company here at @fordstheatre in DC. A few nights ago (Sept 11), just before we were about to perform this story in front of many who lived it, we received a gigantic box with personalized gifts from each actor to their counterpart; their Diane @lindsaynbradshaw sent me something, their Kevin T sent our Kevin T something, and so on. It gave us all an incredibly well-timed boost and made us feel super loved and supported. THANK YOU! We love you! It’s an honor to be a member of this CFA family alongside you!

(Also so impossibly cool to feel so much @otterbeintheatreanddance love from @katiewhetsell !) by @cbrookecreative_

Unbelievably honored and staggeringly grateful to tell this story on this particular day. I’m so, so, so lucky. We have our second preview tonight, and officially open next week. Thank you @fordstheatre for assembling a team of such incredibly wonderful people. Production photos of this gorgeous show coming soon; for now, a glimpse of these people I love with my whole heart … 💙💛

Even when things are tough there are always still glimmers to be found of really beautiful moments and people and dogs. Here are a few of mine. by @cbrookecreative_

Today, MEXODUS closed off-broadway, but if anything in this universe is fair, we’ll all see it again on Broadway soon. @mrbrianquijada ’s bass notes will save the world; @nygeld ‘s endless list of musical abilities truly boggles the mind; @riwrdesign ‘s set was brilliant (as always); and I have no doubt @fionathat98 ‘s warmth, focus, and joy made the whole thing better. I am in awe of Mikhail Fiksel’s work in sound designing this fully live-looped piece. Just incredible. Congratulations all! by @cbrookecreative_

Last night’s Tonys made me feel especially grateful for my life in the American theatre, and I wanted to take a moment to shout out the incredible DC theatre community who have welcomed me - immediately and wholeheartedly and with so much kindness - during my first year working here. I am so glad to be here and so excited for the future.

Shouting out my beautiful, talented friend who went on today opposite me, as Cornelius, in our production of HELLO, DOLLY! - Woodford, it was an honor to get to watch you shine today.
