Today, I said YES to forever with my best friend!! I prayed for this man, down to every little detail and God provided. For over a year, you’ve provided a safe space for me, loved me unconditionally, and you’ve done everything you could to help me succeed in and outside of nursing school. I appreciate you so much and so grateful God brought us together! I love doing life with you and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for us. I love you more than you know. 🥹❤️ Mark 10:9- “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.” by @cchelbiee
To my man, my best friend, thank you. I met you within just a few months of starting this program and we were locked in ever since. God knew I needed you at that time. At times when I felt like I was drowning, you were there to remind me that the Lord and you were by my side. Thank you for trying to take away every ounce of my stress and being there for me even after you graduated and started your own journey in the ICU. The way you believed in me and supported me through this journey made me feel like I could accomplish anything I put my mind to. I love you🥹🩷 by @cchelbiee
Psalms 121:1-3 I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help, My help cometh from the Lord, Which made heaven and earth, He will not suffer thy foot to be moved, He that keepeth thee will not slumber. During all five semesters of nursing school, I chose a Bible scripture to cling onto and keep me going. During my last semester, Psalms 121: 1-3, has been my favorite scripture. Without God on my side, I wouldn’t have made it this far. Nursing school has been one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced thus far but I know God wouldn’t have placed this dream in my heart if he knew I couldn’t make it through! This journey has helped me to grow my faith and opened so many new doors for me. It’s been a long 2 years but I wouldn’t trade the lessons I’ve learned and relationships I’ve made in this program for anything. To my mommy, I’m ready to sign your name next to mine on this degree girl! You were there every step of the way, feeling every emotion I felt at the time. I appreciated every phone call, prayer, hug, and motivational word. I know that your prayers were apart of the reason I made it this far. Thank you for always reminding me of the bigger picture, and that this was always bigger than just me. To my brother, thank you for always showing up for me, from Jackson to Hattiesburg, you never missed anything. From being my pretend patient to always pushing me to do my best, I appreciated everything. Thank you Jones College for my amazing instructors. I’m so grateful to have been surrounded by so many knowledgeable nurses who did everything they could to help me succeed. You have helped me to become a better person and the best nurse I can be. Thank you God for placing this dream in me and equipping me to care for your people!!🩷😭 by @cchelbiee
