Scroll thru for a little glimpse into some experimenting I’ve been doing lately with turmeric sun prints (anthotypes). I love them..they’re vague and ephemeral and feel like the perfect way to capture these long sunny days around summer solstice. If you want to learn more and create a sun print of your own AND a sweet gemstone engraved medallion come join me and the brilliant @artgirlm77 for a Summer Solstice Cafternoon this coming Sunday @thebefreehealingcenter by @thebefreehealingcenter

Next Sunday!! ☀️Our summer solstice weekend of celebration continues with this incredible art making opportunity with two of our favorite Creative mamas Celeste Warf @cecilmonkeypants and Melissa Robinson @artgirlm77 !

Join them for a sunny ☀️ Crafternoon celebrating summer solstice and the longest day of the year. We’ll gather from 2-4:30 for snacks, community, and lots of making!
With Melissa, we will channel that sweet summer goddess energy and create a beautiful etched copper pendant. We will start by selecting a crystal, shell or stone that resonates. We will then wire wrap your stone to copper that has been heat treated and etch some lovely patterns.
We’ll also be outdoors harnessing that summer sunshine and the blooming abundance around us with tumeric sunprints (anthotypes) with Celeste. We will be laying out a design on pretreated paper using elements from nature-flowers, seeds, shells, leaves. Finally we’ll take our creations outside, “printing” with the sun’s bright rays! Snacks and all materials provided.
Self Investment $40

I got to teach chair yoga at Fort Collins Pride today and afterwards I was FEELING MYSELF. Glitter freckles and a fresh bang trim from @greenrootsstudio really make all the difference. Teaching anything brings up such intense self doubt and fear so I’m also glistening with sweet sweaty relief for being done. 🤦🏻‍♀️😅 by @thebefreehealingcenter

I’m so excited to share a closer look at the second of THREE crafts we’ll be making in our workshop on the 14th! Mini-altars! Here are a few examples I made with friends and I just love them so much. These can be used to hold little precious objects, help us focus on an intention, as a reminder of something sacred and precious. Can’t wait to see how everyone makes this their own! Workshop is NEXT SATURDAY from 1-4. Sign up at www.befreehealing.com/workshops. by @thebefreehealingcenter

Hello! I’m working on a project that I’d ideally like to install in early June. To do so I need a plethora of cardboard egg cartons. So! If you have clean cardboard egg cartoons and want to contribute you can get them to me in three ways-leave them at my door, message me and I’ll pick them up and last but not least, drop them off @thebefreehealingcenter . Thank youuuuuu! by @thebefreehealingcenter
