"Exile Promenade" by Ada Mukhina premiered at the #PerformingExiles Festival at the Haus der Berliner Festspiele last summer.  Three guides took the audience on a performative walk through the streets of Berlin, to places of historical and contemporary exile from Russia. All performances were sold out. Various media such as Arte TV, rbb radio, Deutsche Bühne, and Nachtkritik covered the performance. And its story continues! The new edition of Exile Promenade comes to Berlin on May 17-23 in collaboration with the Werkstatt Exilmuseum at Fasanenstraße 24. Its return is supported by the Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa des Landes Berlin. The new edition of the walk introduces a new protagonist - Alina Anufrienko. A non-binary composer takes you on a sonic journey through the noise of war propaganda that tries to silence queer, feminist, and antiwar voices. Two other protagonists Grégoire Lopoukhine and Ziliä Qansurá reappear to guide you in this performative walk, investigating the roots of Russian imperialism and searching for ways to heal a collective trauma. More information and tickets could be found on the website of the Werkstatt Exilmuseum. ____ Video documentation: Adam Janish @adamjanish Trailer Editor: Sasan Khoshniat @sasan_khoshniat Director: @ada.travels.the.world  Composer: @cello_preacher  Costumes: @ziliae_ Production: @xplusdrei_produktionsbue #exilepromenade #adamukhina #exilmuseum #werkstattexilmuseum #LGBTQ #performance #charlottenburg #berlin #exile #walk #citytour #TicketsAvailable #BerlinEvents #queerberlin #artistsinexile #history #visual_arts #music by @cello_preacher

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is surrounded by many myths, and knowing the facts matters. In 2024, around 2.4 million people worldwide were diagnosed with breast cancer. We put together this post about breast cancer and its treatment, from ancient times to the present day. Get checked, take care of each other, and support people living with cancer. Don’t be afraid to ask questions. It matters both for the person going through treatment and for the people around them. But awareness is not only about prevention and survival statistics. Awareness is about visibility, knowledge and care. или Awareness means seeing, knowing, and supporting each other. *** Source : ✔️World Health Organization (WHO) - Breast cancer - global statistics. ✔️International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) - Breast Cancer - global cancer data and research. ✔️National Cancer Institute (NCI) - Breast Cancer Treatment - treatment options and medical information. ✔️National Cancer Institute (NCI) - Hormone Therapy for Breast Cancer - endocrine therapy and ovarian suppression. ✔️American Cancer Society - Breast Cancer - screening, treatment, side effects and life after cancer. ✔️Breastcancer.org - treatment, side effects and everyday life with breast cancer. by @cello_preacher
