Still reflecting on what this opportunity meant.

A huge thank you to the entire team who helped bring Hair for Self-Esteem to the RJ Barrett Camp.

From our barbers and hairstylists behind the chairs, to everyone working behind the scenes, you showed up with professionalism, energy and a genuine desire to pour into these young people.

Yes, we provided hair services. But this opportunity represented so much more.

It was mentorship. It was confidence. It was exposure. It was young professionals gaining real-world experience, building their networks and seeing where their talent can take them.

And most importantly, it was our team using their skills to give back to the next generation.

Thank you to the RJ Barrett Foundation for trusting us and giving our team the opportunity to be part of something special.

Proud of this team. Proud of what we’re building.

This is bigger than hair.

Strong Skills. Strong Body. Strong Mind.

We are excited to announce this incredible partnership and opportunity.

The Bartley Skills Development Program is teaming up with the RJ Barrett Foundation to build confidence in athletes and create meaningful opportunities for the beauty professionals who serve them.

Through our Hair for Self-Esteem initiative, campers will have access to complimentary barbering and braiding services, while talented barbers and braiders get the opportunity to showcase their skills, build relationships, and make an impact beyond the chair.

We believe confidence matters, especially for young people. Sometimes something as simple as feeling good about yourself can change how you show up in the classroom, on the court, and in life.

Proud of this partnership, proud of the professionals helping us bring it to life, and excited to continue showing just how powerful this industry can be.

This campaign means more than you know.

There was a time when I was buried in a hole of my own making, carrying pain I didn’t know how to process and feeling disconnected from everyone around me.

I kept showing upto school, football practice, and work. Believing that if I stayed busy, everything would eventually get better. It didn’t.

Life demanded that I grow up faster than I should have, teaching me lessons no child should have to learn so early. Looking back, I realize what I needed most wasn’t someone to fix my problems, it was an outlet. A place where I felt seen, heard, and reminded that I wasn’t alone.

That’s why Hair for Self-Esteem means so much to me.

This campaign is about more than haircuts. It’s about creating confidence, building connection, and giving young people a safe space to be themselves. I’ve learned that healing isn’t about forgetting what you’ve been through, it’s about carrying it in a way that allows you to keep moving forward.

If this campaign can become that outlet for even one person, then it’s worth everything.

The Point Goddess Celebrity Game has never been just about what happens on the court.

It is about the ecosystem being built around it.

This year, every partner stepping into this space is helping bring a different layer of the experience to life.

@skechers.canada helping athletes show up with confidence through apparel, performance, and their growing investment in women’s basketball as the Official Apparel Partner of the @wnba.

@chairlinks bringing confidence, self-expression, and care to the forefront through the Courts & Crowns experience - reminding our community that how you feel matters just as much as how you play.

@northpolehoops telling the story with intention, capturing the voices, moments, and purpose behind what Point Goddess continues to build.

@hoopqueensto represents what it means to be a trailblazer for women in basketball - creating spaces for women that are rooted in belonging, community, and the love of the game.

@raptors905 bridging professional game with the next generation - showing young athletes what is possible when access, visibility and community.

@drsapna and @circlehealthca extend the conversation beyond sport, bringing wellness, health, and whole-athlete care into the centre of the experience.

@opulencephotobooth capturing moments that become memories - creating a space for celebration, recognition and joy that lives far beyond the event.

Together, these partners are not just supporting an event.

They are helping build a space where women and girls can feel seen, celebrated, supported, and empowered.

Different roles. Different industries. One shared commitment.

This is more than a game.

This is the Point Goddess Celebrity Game.

From the chair to the classroom. ❤️✂️🎓

This Father’s Day, @ctv shared the story of Camille and me graduating from York University.

To Gloria and Carol Charles, and everyone at CTV, thank you for believing our story was worth telling.

Years ago, barbering and hairstyling gave us more than a career.

They gave us confidence.

They gave us purpose.

They gave us a community.

They gave us the opportunity to build businesses, mentor young people, and eventually earn university degrees.

That’s why we’ll always believe the beauty industry is about so much more than hair.

It’s about creating opportunities.

It’s about restoring confidence.

It’s about opening doors that many people never thought were possible.

Every haircut, every hairstyle, every conversation in the chair has the power to change someone’s life.

To every young barber, hairstylist, braider, nail tech, or student wondering if your dream is “big enough”…

Believe in yourself.

Your trade can become your business.

Your business can become your platform.

Your platform can become your purpose.

Thank you to every participant, volunteer, school, sponsor, and community partner who has believed in our mission. This recognition belongs to all of us.

We’ll keep proving that confidence starts with a hair service, but it doesn’t end there. It can lead to careers, education, entrepreneurship, and a future you never imagined.

Keep believing. Keep learning. Keep building. ❤️✂️ by @chairlinks

Your talent is unmatched @kim_88blvd !🔥🔥🔥 by @chairlinks

People see the haircut.

What they don’t always see is the weight being taken off. Shoulders feeling lighter. That next step taken even bigger.

That’s why the Hair for Self-Esteem Tour hits home

There was a time when I felt like I was walking around with two shadows. One was the person everyone saw on the outside, and the other was carrying the weight of battles I hadn’t faced and emotions I kept locked away. It wasn’t until I started exercising my mental health same way I do my physical health for things to change.

Through Hair for Self-Esteem, we’re using the barbershop as a platform to empower the youth through workshops, spark meaningful conversations, & bringing communities together.

Every city we visit, every youth we connect with, and every barber and hairstylist who joins this movement helps create a ripple effect that extends far beyond the chair.

If you’ve ever wanted your craft to have a deeper purpose, this is it…
