This is how I make Cookie’s favourite colourful meal bowl. 🌈🐶

🥕 Chopped carrots
🎃 Pumpkin
🍠 Sweet potato
❤️ Beetroot

Boneless chicken
Lamb
Duck

🌾 Quinoa
✨ A pinch of turmeric
🌿 Moringa
💧 Water

Boil everything until cooked

Blend it all into a smooth mix and pour it into a slow feeder by @chonky.paws or bowl.

🥚 Crack a fresh egg on top.

🫐 Finish with a few blueberries and your dog’s favourite treat

I was 14 when you came into my life, and today, you’re 14.

It feels like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms, wondering what kind of person you’d grow up to be. Somewhere between your first smile, your first steps, your endless questions, and all the little moments in between, you became one of the biggest pieces of my heart.

Watching you grow has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. No matter how tall you get, how independent you become, or how many birthdays pass, I’ll always see the little boy who made me a big sister.

In 2014, a young life was lost to a pothole. Five years later, we did meet her parents and did the story and shot this short documentary in 2019. But we could never publish. 12 years later, we're telling her story again, not because it's old news, but because the problem is still with us.

Every monsoon, the headlines return. Every year, promises are made. Yet potholes continue to take lives.

Government data shows that 9,438 people died in pothole-related road accidents between 2020 and 2024, with fatalities rising by 53% over the five-year period. In 2024 alone, potholes claimed 2,385 lives across the country.

This documentary is not just about her. It's about a question that remains unanswered: How many more lives must be lost before road safety becomes a reality?

We were younger then when we chased the story. And today, we are a lot older than all the solutions the respective governments came up with.
