We did it again… GOLD WINNER! 🏆✨

Chaos Organizing has officially been named Best of Baton Rouge 2026 — that’s TWO years in a row!

Now, in true “organized chaos” fashion… I was off at an organizing retreat while my incredible lead organizers, Melanie and Junita, showed up to represent us (and look how cute they are doing it 💁‍♀️).

And here’s the funny part — they didn’t even have a certificate ready for us… so THIS picture is our proof 😂📸

But honestly, the real win isn’t the award — it’s YOU. Every client who trusts us with your homes, your businesses , and yes… your special memories.

We are so grateful, so honored, and still a little in disbelief.

Here’s to helping Baton Rouge live with less chaos and a whole lot more calm 💛

Here’s a hot tip for keeping those little household essentials right where you need them. 🙌

Use Velcro to attach your children’s thermometers to the inside of a cabinet door. That way, when someone wakes up feeling under the weather and you need to take their temperature, you aren’t digging through drawers, baskets, and bathroom cabinets trying to find it. It’s right there at your fingertips, ready when you need it.

Sometimes the best organizing solutions are also the simplest ones. ✨

🚗 Want to avoid the chaos of city traffic? My favorite tip is to stack your errands and schedule an errand day! Instead of running out several times throughout the week, make a list of everything that needs to get done and tackle it all in one trip. A little planning can help you cut down on unnecessary trips and keep your week running smoothly.

Have a project you’ve been putting off? Give us a call today and let us help get you organized. 🙌 by @chaosorganizing

I hope your label maker never runs out of tape and may your bins always fit, your containers stack perfectly, your pantry stay organized, and everyone in your house put things BACK where they belong. 💁🏼‍♀️ A girl can dream, right? ✨

Things only an organizer would say:
✨ “That needs a label.”
✨ “Let’s give everything a home.”
✨ “Before you buy another basket, let’s see what you’re actually storing.”
✨ “If everyone knows where it goes, everyone can put it away.”

Labeling might seem like a small detail, but it makes a BIG difference! From pantry shelves and bathroom cabinets to garage storage, labels help everyone find what they need, return things to the right place, and keep your systems working long after organizing day.

Ready to bring a little more order to your home? Schedule an organizing session with Chaos Organizing, and let’s create systems that work for your real life!

And remember, there’s no shame in a little Southern chaos. 😉

Do your children know where to find your important papers if they need them?
I organize homes for a living, but even I had important information scattered in different places. Some was filed, some was online, and some was apparently stored in the very secure location known as “I know I put it somewhere.” 😂
LifePlans is an online life-planning platform that helps you keep your household’s important information and documents together in a secure digital vault. It also gives you personalized guidance from a Life Planner and connects you with helpful resources as you work through everything from everyday family logistics to caregiving and major life transitions.
Between aging parents, grown children, a new grandbaby, and running a business, life has a lot of moving pieces. Having this information organized is not about expecting something bad to happen. It is about making life a little lighter for you now and for the people you love later.
Take a look at @our_lifeplans options and ask yourself: Would my family know where to begin?

When you walk through your back door at the end of a long day, how does your home make you feel? 🏡

Do you feel relieved to be home, ready to kick off your shoes, relax, and enjoy your space? Or do you immediately notice the piles, the clutter, and all the things you still need to tackle?

Your home should be a place where you can rest and recharge, not another item on your to do list. ✅

If the clutter is making it hard to enjoy your home, let Chaos Organizing help you get things back in order. We’ll create systems that work for your family, your lifestyle, and your real everyday life.

When you have a baby, you don’t need to spend 10 minutes digging through drawers looking for something to put on them. 👶🏻

One of our favorite ways to organize baby clothes is to create different “grab and go” buckets right in the nursery. Think cozy sleepers, everyday outfits, onesies, or those tried and true outfits you already know fit well and keep that sweet baby comfortable.

That way, when you’re in the middle of a diaper change, a blowout, or just need to get out the door quickly, you already know exactly where to reach. No searching. No digging. No pulling every outfit out of the drawer.

Just grab, dress, and go. 👶🏼💙💕
