A wonderful day at the woods 🍂 by @chapelcandle

We’ve been busy working on our two favourite things: handmade ceramics and handpoured candles. We’re so close to sharing them with you, and in the meantime you can head to the link in our bio and put your email address in so you’re the first to know when they’re ready.

Each beautifully crafted pot is thrown, fired and glazed by Lydia before she takes them a few roads away to Millie who turns them into clean-burning candles, poured by hand with fragrances that you just can’t say no to. Then the pot is yours to keep and use for whatever you like.

There will be a few glaze options and fragrances to choose from, but that’s a surprise for now 🤫

A little candle care makes all the difference 🤍

We want you to get every last hour out of your Chapel candle, so here are a few simple tips to keep it burning beautifully.

🔥 FIRST BURN
Let your candle burn for 2–3 hours on its first use, allowing the wax to melt evenly across the surface.

✂️ TRIM THE WICK
Keep your wick trimmed to 5mm before each burn for a cleaner, more even flame.

🌿 FIND A CALM SPOT
Keep your candle away from draughts, fans and open windows. A steady flame helps the wax burn evenly.

⏳ BURN TIMES
Keep each burn to a maximum of four hours, then let your candle cool completely before lighting it again.

A few simple habits to help you enjoy every last hour of your candle.

Save this for your next cosy evening. 🤍

👀 Something new is on its way and it’s bursting with citrus, wrapped in spice, and made for crisp autumn mornings and cosy evenings at home. 🍂

We love a seasonal scent, and wanted to bring those familiar autumn smells into an elegant, beautifully balanced fragrance you’ll look forward to lighting every day.

Think juicy, with a spicy side and plenty of warmth.

A beautiful morning, a little light through the window, and Cedar & Jasmine to start the day 🤍

Soft jasmine, warm cedarwood and amber, with a little freshness from bergamot and eucalyptus. Lovely alongside fresh air through an open window and a few minutes to yourself.

There’s something nice about lighting a candle in the morning. Getting ready, putting a few things in order, or simply enjoying breakfast while the house is still quiet.

Tonight: a candle, a good book and absolutely no plans. Shorter days and longer nights are made for warm, musky scents and cosy evenings at home 🍂 ☕️

Our candles are made from coconut and rapeseed wax, with over 40 hours of burn time and a beautiful fragrance that fills the room.

Frankincense & Myrrh is warm and gently sweet, with soft woody notes and a little freshness from bergamot and delicate florals. A lovely one for a quiet evening in.

Tobacco & Oak is a rich, warming fragrance with deep woody notes and a subtle smokiness. Tobacco, oak and incense are balanced by hints of fresh citrus and clove, creating a distinctive scent that's particularly suited to cosy evenings.

These gorgeous scents are available as candles, wax melts and room sprays. by @chapelcandle
