Some people dream of a bigger kitchen. You dream of putting this in it.

We’re not here to judge. We’re building ch-aphe for exactly your kind of problem.

From your first grinder to your “we’ll need bigger premises” era, good coffee gear deserves a second shot.

You came in for a coffee. You left wanting the grinder, the cups, and a completely different career.

We get it.

That café setup you’re admiring? Your first piece could be someone else’s next upgrade.

It’s pronounced “chaff”. The coffee reference was inevitable.

Named after the papery skin shed during roasting, ch-aphe is built on a little leftover thinking: there’s still value in what gets left behind.

That grinder you’ve outgrown? Someone’s next upgrade. That spare brewer? Plenty of mornings left in it.

Less waste. More good coffee.

Chuck put on bunny ears and called it a costume. We respect the commitment to doing less.

Same cat. Borrowed ears. A whole new look.

We like that approach to coffee gear, too. Someone else’s old favourite could be your next obsession.

Happy Halloween from ch-aphe.

Got old coffee gear gathering dust at your shop?

The kettle you replaced. The spare grinder. The brewer you swear you’ll use again.

Your back room is starting to look like a retirement home for perfectly good equipment.

Why not chaphe it? Someone else’s next great setup could be hiding behind your oat milk.

No filter. Except the very obvious one.

A few beans, hot water, and a morning ritual we’ve made unnecessarily complicated.

Wouldn’t change a thing. Unless you’re changing your setup. Then give your old gear another morning ritual to be part of.

Getting ready for @fyriresort @jessicawinderl
gift bags this weekend. Packing coffee. Questioning whether we should keep it all.

We’re giving it away. Apparently that’s the point.

See you there.

Ch-aphe — good coffee. Second chances. by @chapheit

Obsessive about coffee. A little cranky about waste.

We’re building ch-aphe with a purpose: to keep good coffee gear in use and bring the people who love it together.

For us, sustainability means caring for what we own, repairing what we can, and passing things on when we’re ready for a change.

Good equipment deserves a long life. Someone else deserves a great first setup.

Reuse. Resell. Repurpose.

Good coffee. Second chances. No bad beans.

“Just a quick coffee.” Two hours and a conversation about grinders later.

Some things are better shared. Good coffee. Good company. And gear with plenty left to give.

We’re brewing a little something for coffee people.

ch-aphe. Coming soon.
