. Hachijo Island / Tokyo . My very first time in Hachijojima🌤️ A place where I could slow down, breathe a little deeper, and simply take in everything around me — leaving my mind, heart, and stomach feeling wonderfully full. Thank you for such a beautiful opportunity, @0.1percent__official . This summer brought so many new encounters, and with them, a new place I already can’t wait to return to. I’m leaving with so many happy memories and a lot of gratitude🫂 . I needed this time to step back, clear my head, and sort through both work and my own thoughts. Somewhere along the way, I feel like I started to see a little more clearly what might come next with these irreplaceable moments and the friends who made them even more special, I can say I truly had a summer to remember 🎆 . Hachijojima is officially one of my new favorite places — and somewhere I’d love for all my friends to experience, too. See you again soon🌴 . #hachijojima #summertime #tokyo #japan by @charles_kawamoto_46
. Finnish design house @kalevalaofficial celebrated its 90th anniversary with an intimate gathering in Tokyo’s Omotesando🇯🇵 . Ahead of this milestone year, I had the pleasure of getting an exclusive first look at the anniversary collection and its collaboration with @cfcl_official , unveiled during the recent Paris Fashion Week💍✨ . Founded in 1937 by bold Finnish women, Kalevala remains proudly women-owned, women-led, and rooted in its heritage. To this day, every piece of jewelry is crafted in its own atelier in Helsinki🇫🇮 . There’s something truly inspiring about a brand that honors its roots while continuing to challenge itself and redefine what comes next👏Thank you for having me and for such a wonderful opportunity to celebrate this special milestone🖤 . @kalevalaofficial and @kalevala_jp Respect my dear @aino_ahlnas . #kalevala #kalevalajewelry #カレワラ #pr by @charles_kawamoto_46

. <Announcement> 📢Today, I’m sharing that I have officially stepped down from my role at @qui_tokyo . As QUI TOKYO’s International Editor and PR, I had the privilege of being based in Paris while covering fashion weeks, shows, and creative communities across Europe. Along the way, I was fortunate to meet and work with so many inspiring designers, brands, PR teams, creatives, and friends. Every encounter has shaped me, and I am truly grateful for your trust, kindness, and support🇫🇷 . More than anything, I believe that because so many of you believed in QUI TOKYO and chose to work with us, the publication has continued to grow earning recognition on an international stage and evolving into an even stronger platform for fashion and culture. It has been an incredible honor to contribute to that journey, and I will always be proud to have been part of it. . While I haven’t decided on my next chapter just yet, one thing remains certain: I will continue living and working between Paris and Japan, sharing fashion, culture, and stories from my own perspective, while building meaningful connections across borders. . If there are opportunities to collaborate whether in editorial, PR, brand consulting, creative direction, international coordination, or special projects I would be delighted to connect💌 . To everyone who has supported me throughout these years, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your generosity, encouragement, and friendship have meant more than words can express🫂 . With gratitude and love, Charles . 📸 @supercupmatcha #fashion #fashioneditor #quitokyo #fyp by @charles_kawamoto_46
