A look back on Beatrice's first trip around the sun, discovering life, bringing joy, and spreading love. by @charlesavocado

Less than a week from a full revolution around the sun for Beatrice. What a wonderful, exciting year of discovering life on earth with her. 🥰 by @charlesavocado

How has it already been one year since we had to say goodbye, my love? Not a day goes by that I don't miss you. Thank you for everything you taught me when you were earth side and thank you for finding Beatrice and sending her to me. You are forever in my heart and I can't wait till the day we are together again. Love always, mama. 🩷 by @charlesavocado

I hope it's me and you in every universe. 🥰 I miss you so much, Charles. Trust @beatricethepinkcorgi is doing a great job of taking care of me. by @charlesavocado

Always missing my baby. 🩷 by @charlesavocado

Grateful for angel brother @charlesavocado for paving the way for baby Beatrice. It's incredible how learning about the capacity for love. The love for Bea does not replace the love for Charles. No. Rather, I feel my heart expanding to hold space for both loves. I wish this kind of unyielding love for every dog and human in the world. It is the best love. by @charlesavocado

I made the most impossible decision to let Charles run free from his earthly bonds on 9.12.25. His mobility had been declining for several months. He never lost a beat mentally, his body simply was limiting him and his ability to do the things he loved. This was the most difficult decision I've ever had to make. I'm experiencing grief in depths I didn't know possible. The truth is, there's no such thing as enough time.

Thank you so much for loving Charles with me. It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to have so many people from all over the world loving Charles with me. I am so grateful and so lucky. I am sorry for not being present on here the last couple years of his life, but I wanted to make sure those of you that care, know.

With peace and love,

Another year with Charles on this earth. It's been a bit of a tumultuous one, but overall it's been so wonderful. 💕 Happy twelfth birthday, Charles! I love you so much, buddy. 🥹🫶 by @charlesavocado

Happy Sunday! Charles has been doing very well. He's enjoying the cooler weather and getting more snuggly in his beds. I just got more polyfil to make his bed bolsters fluffier and he loves it (and also looks much smaller in his beds 🥹).

Vet appointment on Tuesday to recheck the UTI/bladder stone situation.

Sending you all hugs and love and hoping you are having a wonderful fall! 🍁🎃 by @charlesavocado

We hope everyone had a good Halloween! Enjoy these pics of Charles being a ghost from three years ago!

Now onto November, Charles's birth month. Let the countdown begin! 23 days to 12 years old! by @charlesavocado

Corgi friends and lovers! Help Barry find his siblings! They would provide the best chance at getting life-saving care for precious, young Barry in his cancer fight!! Share far and wide if possible to help! 🫶🫶🫶

Sending you all much love and well-wishes this autumn.

Charles is doing well, all things considered. He's one week four of a six-week run of antibiotics for a pretty gnarly UTI (likely from bladder irritation from his bladder stones). But he's doing really well and enjoying life. 🫶 by @charlesavocado
