I’ll just leave this here. @twisted_automotive by @charlesrfawcett

Where the builds began: 21 years ago a local chap called Nick asked me to modify a Defender for him, his budget was roughly what he normally spent on a new Range Rover or Discovery, he just wanted to be different. We did all the mechanicals and some exterior work. He then took it to a firm in the north east who trimmed private jets to have his interior done. This guy was a pioneer, he started something, he not only inspired me, he lived it, some time later I bought the 110 from him and worked on many of his other land rovers. Sadly he is no longer with us, if he was I would buy him dinner and share stories about what he did for me, fast forward almost 20 years, his son had Twisted build him a 90. Full circle. Amazing people, thank you Nick and George. by @charlesrfawcett

One car a thousand memories… Close to 20 years owning this 90. Many memories, journeys and changes. A small selection here. Defender ownership doesn’t make sense to most, but those that get it, just get it. by @charlesrfawcett

11 years ago, this experience would have been pretty normal. New defender, new smell, off to work it goes. I have a small collection I have been saving for over a decade that still capture all those senses. It’s nostalgia, it’s grabbing that thing we wanted back then, it’s only going to happen a handful of times before they have all gone. Store or use, that’s up to you. Get in touch if you fancy experiencing the new defender feel again… by @charlesrfawcett

It’s time. After 10 years holding on tight it’s possibly time to let one go. Which colour and model first… Picture credit to a guy I met in the early 90’s on a moor in Wensleydale who has travelled the world since camera in hand. Legend. by @charlesrfawcett

Before I fill it with tractors I figured I’d coat the floor with rubber. by @charlesrfawcett

An inadvertent purchase. Absolutely love it. TEA20 1954. by @charlesrfawcett

2011 - The red Edition. We sold lots of these. Many without the red but that’s the point. Inspire, excite and interpret. 14 years on, it’s still fucking cool. Do you agree? by @charlesrfawcett
