DEVIL’S NIGHT OUT — HALLOWEEN AT LAUT

DEVIL’S NIGHT OUT — HALLOWEEN EN LAUT
Sábado 31 de octubre · Barcelona

BLACK DEVIL DISCO CLUB · THE RIPOFFICERS · CHARLIE LEVAN · BRENDV BLU

(★) BLACK DEVIL DISCO CLUB (★)
In 1978, French composer and synthesiser pioneer Bernard Fèvre quietly released Disco Club under the name Black Devil, six hypnotic tracks built from analogue synthesizers, spectral vocals and cosmic disco. Too strange and too futuristic for its era, the record disappeared almost as quickly as it arrived, only to be rediscovered decades later by collectors and DJs who couldn’t believe it had truly been made in the seventies.

Its reissue by Aphex Twin’s Rephlex Records transformed Black Devil Disco Club into one of electronic music’s defining cult acts, revealing a sound that had unknowingly anticipated Italo disco, synthwave and generations of underground dance music.

Known for her adventurous selections, Tania crafts sets that are both precise and unpredictable. With appearances at Hidden, Venue MOT, Little Portland Street, Corsica Studios and festivals including Shambala and Dimensions, she represents a new generation of selectors shaping the future of the UK’s underground electronic music.

As the host of Tempaural on Netil Radio, she has built a platform for forward-thinking electronic music, inviting artists including James Shinra, Legowelt, Radioactive Man, DMX Krew, Galaxian and Nathan Fake. Beyond the airwaves, she’s become a driving force in London’s grassroots scene through her Tempaural party series and colla by @charlie_levan90
