I stepped into that cage for the first time knowing I was entering a whole new chapter of my career. I walked out knowing this is exactly where I’m supposed to be. But there’s so much more to come. Keep working, keep learning, keep climbing. We haven’t even scratched the surface yet. 📈🎯

Pumped to be joining the coaching team for the upcoming AJJFP x Matheus Gabriel x Samuel Nagai Youth Camp 👊

Growing up, opportunities to learn from the best in the world were rare. That's why I'm excited to be part of a program that's giving the next generation of Australian athletes exactly that.

I'll be on the mats on the Gold Coast Youth Camp alongside 4× IBJJF World Champion Matheus Gabriel, World Champion Samuel Nagai, and the AJJFP coaching team, helping young athletes learn, improve, and get the most out of an unforgettable few days.

🥋 Youth Camps

📍 Sydney | 28–30 September | @apex_bjj_ - SOLD OUT
📍 Gold Coast | 1–3 October @virtuebjj @gbsurfersparadise

🇦🇺 AUSTRALIAN BJJ NATIONALS — DONE! 🥇🥈

What a way to finish the Nationals.

🥇 Gold in Gi
🥈 Silver in No-Gi
🔺 And to top it off, I got my first ever triangle submission in competition!

Getting onto the mats at all was a challenge. I came into Nationals carrying a moderate tear in my common extensor tendon, over 8mm long, but with the preparation from the Fight World team, I was still able to get out there and compete.

A massive thank you to @chatovaldes for your continued support, being my professor and being in my corner coaching me through every match. I genuinely wouldn’t have achieved this without you.

@luis.cossio — even though you’re a new coach to our team, you’ve already helped me immensely. Your support and input throughout the preparation has meant a lot.

@martins_ri021_jj — thank you for all the valuable lessons, advice and, most importantly, the belief you’ve shown in me.

And of course @gabrielmuniiz — the reason I got involved in BJJ in the first place… all because you operate permanently on Brazilian time 😂🇧🇷 Without that, this journey might never have started.

I’m proud of the medals, but even more grateful for the people who helped me earn them.

One team. One family. Fight World. 🖤💛

🥇 GI — Australian Nationals Champion
🥈 NO-GI — Australian Nationals Silver
