Discipline looks boring until progress changes everything 💪🏽 Here’s to half a year of doing hard things, obeying God, surrendering to the lock in season, getting hotter, & becoming more disciplined. Grateful, but not done 🌹 _ #fitnessjourney #thickfit #girlswholift #weightlossjourney #intentionalliving by @chayyslays
Belated — May 13th, I was the birthday. 🌹🎂 Taurus season is when I come out to play. Spent the most relaxing day at @thebreakers . The very best custom massage, lunch with a view, and the most breathtaking ambiance. I am truly blessed just to be able; to be entering a fresh new chapter more graceful, wiser, stronger, focused, & a lot more disciplined. For the first time in what feels like forever, I can wholeheartedly say that I am undoubtedly proud of the woman I am today and the woman I’m becoming. Thank you 30. A refined escape during Art Basel Miami. The Proper Lounge brought Proper Men’s Skincare to life through warm woods, masculine textures, sculpted lighting, and immersive product storytelling. Each detail, from the grooming sector to the scent and sensory journey, was designed to reflect the brand’s quiet confidence and modern simplicity. — Client: @propermensskincare Design & Production: @louveagency — #eventdesign #eventproduction #brandstorytelling #luxurybrands #artbasel #artbaselmiami #propermen #experiential #experientialmarketing #experientialevents by @chayyslays
I’ve gotten in the habit of gatekeeping my life, pardon me. Here’s a little September & a little October, while barely scratching the November surface. Come back for more soon 🤎 #photodump by @chayyslays
🌴 48 hours in Tampa; Celebrating one of my favorite women 🍾🥂🎂 ✨Lesson of the weekend: Show up for those who show up for you. Simple! _ #weekenddump #weekendrecap by @chayyslays
As the tattoo I got in 2015 says: ‘Life goes on even after love.’ #GentleReminder that everything gets better — The life, the love, the friends, the career, the places you’ll go, & most importantly the skin ✨ #ThirtyAF is truly the era of staying out the way, drinking my water, minding my business, setting boundaries, saying no without feeling guilt, & doing whatever my heart desires. I love it here 🌹 by @chayyslays
Woke up & chose peace this summer🌹 4 months into 30 & I’ve been living in every way that fulfills ME. After the breakdowns + anxiety, I realized life can only get better so I’ve decided to fully embrace the #30sclub. Here’s 30 things I’ve been practicing more + reminding myself of: 1. A private life is a happy life. 2. Health is wealth. 3. Always have your own so you can leave the place, the person, or the thing that no longer align with your becoming. 4. Free yourself of everything you thought you wanted! 5. I’m not addicted to suffering, I will walk away the first time. 6. I’m responsible for my own happiness. 7. No more people pleasing. Be kind but set boundaries. 8. NO is an answer. 9. Control your emotions 10. I don’t need to apologize for choosing myself. 11. Continue to nurture your relationships with those who matter most. 12. It’s not my problem if my confidence makes you uncomfortable. 13. I stay out of rooms that no longer fulfill me or adds to my purpose. 14. Focus on your own life 15. It’s their lie, let them tell it how they wanna tell it. 16. Time doesn’t actually heal, it’s what you do during that time that contributes to your healing. 17. Every broken person is not your assignment. Give people space to make mistakes & to do things wrong without trying to save them. 18. Forgiveness is for you. You can forgive without reconciling. 19. Every ending doesn’t have to be dramatic or sour. You can wish people well & not hold a grudge. 20. Take accountability for my own life choices. 21. Apologize sincerely, let it go & move on. 22. Slow down when God tells you to or he will make you! 23. You cannot pour from an empty cup. 24. A wound won’t heal if you keep touching it. 25. Say no to the things you don’t want to do but don’t be afraid to say yes to things that may scare you. 26. Try new hobbies to discover what you love. 27. You’re not starting over, you’re starting from experience. 28. Not everything is meant to last forever & not everyone who comes into your life is meant to stay. 29. Show up for who show up for you. 30. Growth lives in the quiet moments when you choose not to react the way you use to. Thank you God & Thank you 30🥂 by @chayyslays
