Finishing every dish the right way. We’re now using Maldon salts in the kitchen at The Hoops Inn — because the final touch matters. 🧂✨ @maldonsalt 💎 #thehoopsinnperrygreen #maldonsalt #finishingsalt #seasoning #newopening by @chef_rich91

New term at the college. Means new dishes for the students to learn and cook for the general public. The students done very well with their first session, some cooking things for the first time. Very proud of the students for just listening to my ideas, preparing them and creating the final outcome #tutor #cheftutor #cheflife #chef #newmenu #students #culinarystudents #learning #youngtalent #youngchefs #practicemakesperfect💯 by @chef_rich91

New addition to the menu. Didn’t want to put these on as I thought they were too casual for the workplace. But have become very popular in a day or so. Korean chicken wings sitting on top of a pickled papaya salad, finished with sesame seeds and sliced spring onions #cheflife #chef #asianfoods #chickenwings #chickenrecipes #bbqsauce #tastyfoods #korean #toogood by @chef_rich91
Little bit of a different post to the usual food ones. It’s come to that time of the year again where me and a couple of friends are putting our bodies through their paces again. This time being our hardest one yet. Sea to summit uk the trilogy. I’ve decided to run for Alzheimer’s society for these races. It’s a very good charity and I would appreciate any donations to help out. Also the track that’s playing is a song that’s been wrote about Alzheimer’s too, the artist wrote this song for her mum. Battle of the Blades at MBER! Head Chef Rich showed why he’s the boss – absolute domination. Jay pulled off the comeback of the century (never count him out). And Ramonte… let’s just say the onion wasn’t the only reason he was crying. @chef_rich91 @the_oni_jay @montz00 @mber.london #ChopChallenge #MBERMoments #KitchenWars #FastestHandsInTheWest #ChefLife by @chef_rich91

Who’s says plant based has to be boring. Little special for this week. Celeriac steak marinated in a miso sauce. Slow cooked and then grilled. Sautéed wild mushrooms hit with some gochujang and finished off with some crispy sage #cheflife #chef #plantbased #plantbasedfood #plantbasedeating #vegan #britishproduce #asianflavours #asianfoods #fusionnotconfusion by @chef_rich91
