Proper comfort food with a little twist. 💜 Homemade hazelnut & pear bread and butter pudding using @microbakery00 pastries, finished with warm vanilla bean custard and a scoop of handpicked blackberry ice cream from @saffronicecreamco 🍨 Sweet, warming and full of seasonal flavour. 🍐 #thehoopsinnperrygreen #ComfortFood #DessertLovers #Homemade by @chef_sharankov
My love for the tomato as an ingredient is well documented. 🍅❤️ And every year, around this time, saying goodbye to this marvellous fruit is always a slightly sad affair. 🍂 It’s been an abundant year for tomatoes in our little corner of the UK, largely thanks to @geribabadzhanova geribabadzhanova, who has a proper green thumb 🌱 and planted enough in our garden to keep us very well supplied. 🍅 A seasonal farewell also goes to @guyandwright who have been supplying @hoops.inn with wonderful tomatoes practically since the day we opened. 👨‍🌾 Between the garden and the kitchen, we’ve certainly made the most of this year’s harvest. A few wonky ones, a few split ones, and plenty of delicious ones. Just as tomatoes should be. ❤️ Already looking forward to the first ripe one of next season. 🍅 #tomatoseason #britishtomatoes #homegrown #tomato #lovetomatoes by @chef_sharankov
From a time long ago, and a place that is no more. But what a station it was! 🔥 @ratesmystation #chefslife #kitchenlife #miseenplace #thepass by @chef_sharankov
We still breakfast the old way! 🍳 Poached eggs, strained garlic yoghurt, dill, crispy shallots & herb oil — with soft, warm pide for mopping it all up. 😋 Simple. Proper. Delicious. 👌 #breakfast #poachedeggs #breakfastidea #foodlover #homecooking by @chef_sharankov
A flashback from a year ago and a lifetime away in the mountains! ⛰️☀️ — Shakshuka w/ Rhodopska Zakuska (Родопска Закуска) 🍳🌶️ Big flavours. Mountain rules. 🤌 — #shakshuka #rhodope #balkan #mountain #flashback by @chef_sharankov
Finishing every dish the right way. We’re now using Maldon salts in the kitchen at The Hoops Inn — because the final touch matters. 🧂✨ @maldonsalt 💎 #thehoopsinnperrygreen #maldonsalt #finishingsalt #seasoning #newopening by @chef_sharankov
A year ago, air fryer pork chops became my obsession 🔥 — Still are… look at that beauty after 20 minutes in the @ninjakitchenuk air fryer 🤌 — Crispy fat, juicy centre, zero fuss 💥 — Process in the comments 👇 #airfryer #porkchop #homecooking #chefmode #comfortfood by @chef_sharankov
A flashback from a year ago in the Rhodope Mountains of Bulgaria 🇧🇬⛰️ Some places measure time by the clock… In the Rhodopes it felt like time was measured in banitsa trays coming out of the oven 🔥🥧 Golden filo, spinach, eggs and cheese layered into pure Balkan comfort 🌿🧀🥚 Баница със спанак / Spinach Filo Pie Best eaten warm, slightly too early in the morning, with a glass of айрян / ayran 🥛… or if the day is already going sideways — a small rakia never hurts 🥃😉 #banitsa #bulgarianfood #balkanfood #filopastry #cheflife by @chef_sharankov

🔥🦐 A throwback from a couple of years ago at Anexo — still one of my favourite plates. Grilled prawns over a silky saffron bisque, smoky, rich, and layered with all the good stuff 👌 Pure flavour, no shortcuts. — #grilledprawns #seafoodlover #saffronbisque #cheflife #kitchenvibes #instafood #foodporn #foodstagram #chefstagram #gastroart #culinaryjourney #flavourfirst #fromthekitchen #foodphotography #gourmetstyle #spanishinspired #finefood #restaurantlife #foodcreativity #tapasstyle #seafoodlovers #кулинария #вкусно #食べ物 #料理写真 #comidacasera #mariscos #saboresdelmar #バルセロナ風 by @chef_sharankov
🥗💚 ⸻ #crunch #краставици #лятнакухня #българскахрана #cucumber #салата #seasonaleating #cucumberlove #freshfood #bulgarianfood #summervibes by @chef_sharankov
