A look back at yesterday’s belt promotion! 🎉

What an incredible evening celebrating our Espada family. To everyone who showed up, trained hard, and supported each other — thank you.

Huge congratulations to all of you who received your new belts. You’ve put in the work, stayed consistent, and earned this moment.

Looking forward to seeing everyone back on the mats tomorrow.
Oss! 🥋 by @chef_smokeybandit

Very proud of these 2 for always persevering with their bjj. I always tell them it is a life skill rather than a sport it teaches them so much, self defence, problem solving under pressure, the importance of small details, patience, determination, adversity, overcoming adversity and community. Everyone who trains bjj is on their own unique journey and I love watching theirs. Thank you as always @rodrigocaporal @noshkhz @souzalbjj @espadahk for giving them such a great learning environment #oss #bjj #grappling by @chef_smokeybandit

Congratulations to everyone who got promoted today!

Your hard work, consistency, and dedication on the mats have paid off. Every early class, every tough round, every time you chose to keep going when it got hard — it all led to this moment.

This new belt is a symbol of your growth, resilience, and commitment to becoming better.

Promotions aren’t the finish line. They’re a new starting point. Keep training. Keep showing up. Keep working hard for the next goal, the next level, and the person you’re becoming.
We’re proud of you.

The Espada family grows stronger with every one of you.
Let’s keep building — together. 🔥 by @chef_smokeybandit

Health is the greatest wealth.

You can spend a couple thousand in one night on drinks, dinner, and a movie… or invest that money into a full month of BJJ.

One night of temporary entertainment.

One month of real training.

Netflix, eating out, movies, and drinking feel good in the moment but they don’t build strength, discipline, or a body that lasts. BJJ does.

A healthy body isn’t something you buy once. It’s something you train for. And once you have it, everything else in life gets better.

Stop paying for entertainment that leaves you worse off.
Start investing in the one thing that compounds, your health.

A healthy body is the ultimate goal.

Congratulations to Caporal and Nosh on the amazing result at the Guam Open!

After countless battles on the mats, early mornings, late nights, and everything in between, watching Caporal and Nosh step up in both Gi and NoGi at the Guam Open was something special. These two have put in the work over and over again

We’re so proud of you guys. Proud of the way you competed, proud of how you represented the team, and proud of the standard you continue to set.

This result doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from the daily grind, the training partners who push each other, and the mindset of always coming back better. Every round, every roll, every tough session leading up to this — it all mattered.

Now the focus shifts. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the mats to get ready for Japan Masters. The work continues. The standard stays high. Let’s keep building. by @chef_smokeybandit
