POSTS STORIES REELS

What an amazing pilot of “Food, Wine and God” last night in ATX. Amazing show, can’t wait to see the next episode! A must see. by @chef_zac_atx

Yesterday was my 30th High School Reunion. I missed it.
Tonight I commemorated it. by @chef_zac_atx

I almost skipped this one, but when baby girl said she wanted to go, it was on! Her first time! It was a wet, messy, muddy ACL Fest but wouldn’t have missed it for the world to spend the time with my kids. Even got to hang out with some old friends! by @chef_zac_atx

The story of this weekend wasn’t one of planning or rationale…

It was one of those situations where you dare to dream, set an intention and pull off one of the coolest weekends in college football.

It reminded me that “where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Thanks @christian_crespell and @lukelazzara for helping make it happen!

But wait! There’s more! To top the weekend off… on a very spontaneous, wild hare, I pointed out to @cade_jiwa that last night was the final show on @tameimpala ‘s North American Deadbeat tour. Without tickets for a sold out show, we decided to take the risk and drive the 3 hours to Houston. Turns out, not only were we able to find some reasonable last minute tickets while driving but we ended up in a private suite! It was absolutely ridiculously cool roadtrip concert experience. And… we didn’t get home until 2AM. All the things a great road trip is made of.

Unfortunately we missed the @dominicfike opener, but luckily he’ll be in the ATX tomorrow! by @chef_zac_atx

Upon reflection, I don’t know that one man, as a father, can have a better weekend than this past one. On Saturday, I was blessed by the opportunity to baptize my oldest son and on Sunday he turned around and baptized his “baby” sister as they both committed their life to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I can’t find the words to express my gratitude… the overwhelming abundance of grace and blessing I feel over my family leaves me genuinely speechless. by @chef_zac_atx

I’m not looking to be an influencer unless it means I can influence @chickfila to put this one item on the menu. I mean how do we get #chickenandwaffles and #honeypepperpimentochickensandwich but we can’t get the basic necessities? I’m not mad, but help me make this post viral to help me be the change I want to see in the world!

Here’s how the mind of a food obsessed chef works. The barber mentions he’s found the best sourdough on the planet. Turns out said sourdough (@simplysourdoughjosi) is baked by your friends wife. You go on the hunt to procure said sourdough. Then you start dreaming about the sandwich this sourdough makes perfect. You head to @heb for the he ingredients, including some @boarshead_official mortadella, stracciatella, pistachio pesto, an heirloom tomato and some spicy microgreens. Then you make a sandwich you can’t possible eat by yourself! by @chef_zac_atx

I was given a most wonderful opportunity last weekend to attend the inaugural @christianartsfilmfestival. Honored by the opportunity to moderate a panel on “The Business of Film” with Christian McGuigan (@sycamoretreehouse), @thedallasmorgan (@casterstudios), @sarahlouisenb
(@hisonlysonfilm) & @johnnycstewart (@realfaithchannel). It couldn’t have been a bigger blessing as we near completion of the pilot episode for @foodwineandgod. Thank you @creativescholarr for the invitation.

Happy 13th Birthday to my beloved daughter! I cannot believe how time flies! by @chef_zac_atx

I was given a bag of 🍐s. They sat on my counter for about a week and started to over ripen. I would have felt really guilty letting them go to waste, so I made a pear crisp and some pear butter! Who wants some? by @chef_zac_atx
