The Fountain of Youth isn’t a fountain…. It’s a barbell + a yoga mat.
It’s not lost on me that at @crossfithappystreets, I get to both coach and practice them. 🏋🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️ by @chellecr

🙏🏻 Hands-on assists are one of the ways I connect with my yoga students.

Before I ever step onto a student’s mat, I rub my hands together. It’s intentional… a small way of making my presence known as I approach, rather than simply appearing in their space.

To me, an assist isn’t about pushing someone deeper into a pose or “fixing” their body. It’s communication through touch. Sometimes it offers support. Sometimes awareness. Sometimes it simply says, I’m here with you.

And always… permission comes first.

Because your mat is your space. If you invite me into it, I want my hands to feel like support, not correction.
