" Of all the paths you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt” -John Muir by @chelsea_harding_

We celebrated 25 years of marriage this week ❤️🙏from getting pregnant at 19, to being on food stamps to living a very blessed life, we have truly been through it all and we only made it here by Gods grace. If I could give advice to young women I would tell you to have babies, make joy a part of your life, serve your family well, live below your means, help others any chance you get and trust in Gods plan even when you’re face is on the floor in despair. He’s got you and your family! 🙏

- Someone once told me, “Marry someone you can suffer with.”

I used to think that was such a sad, almost depressing statement like love was supposed to be about happiness, laughter, and shared dreams, not pain.

But life has a way of teaching you what those words really mean.

Because as time goes on, you realize that love isn’t tested in the easy moments; it’s tested in the storms, in the silence, in the nights when nothing seems to make sense.

Real love isn’t about who buys you flowers or takes you on fancy dates.
It’s about who holds you when you can’t stop crying.

It’s about who sits beside you in the darkness without trying to fix you, but instead, chooses to stay.
It’s about the person who sees your flaws, your fears, your worst days and still chooses you, over and over again.

The truth is, life isn’t always gentle.

There will be sickness, loss, disappointment, and moments that break you in ways you never expected.

But the right person won’t run.
They’ll grab your hand when you’re drowning, jump in the water beside you, and help you build a boat strong enough to survive the storm.

They’ll remind you that love isn’t about perfection; it’s about partnership.

So yes, “marry someone you can suffer with” not because life is only suffering, but because true love is proven in how you both rise from it.

It’s not about avoiding pain together; it’s about facing it, surviving it, and still choosing love at the end of every battle. by @chelsea_harding_

Today as I was driving back to the farm I stumbled upon these good American women 🇺🇸 and it gave me HOPE for a better future. I promise you that there are more GOOD people in this world than bad and it’s our duty to spread love to counteract the evil.

Today I ask you to please go out of your way to do something kind for someone who may look, believe or act differently than you do.

Do not let this world turn your heart cold, and let the devil win.

Be kind, be sweet, be willing to hear another persons point of view. Learn something new, grow, share and be like Jesus. 🙏🏻

(If anyone knows these women. Please pass this along to them, they were just north of Shelbyville,TN) ❤️

Things I love. . . A summer series 🌊🐟🍣🌴🍼🐊👙☀️ by @chelsea_harding_

A wise woman once told me to CARE-GIVE & not CARE TAKE… 🙏🏻

CARE GIVING is the act of "being WITH” people suffering, bringing a meal, coming by their house, praying for them, praying with them. Picking up the phone and letting them hear your CARE in your voice… coming along side the person hurting. You are giving them something- your love!

CARE TAKING is when we make choices for others, give advice or opinions they didn’t ask for, we TAKE away their personhood, respect or choice when we care take. When we do things they can do for themselves. We are actually TAKING…

When I heard this wisdom,it stuck deep in my heart ♥️ and I just had to share it with YOU!

It reminds me of Isaiah 6:8, which reads, “Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I; send me!’”

I hope to always be a person that God sends to Care-give.

"I’m a wreck, I’m an old ship wreck”

Isn’t that the truth? Well for me it is…. I’m always a wreck about something; today I woke up with a swollen face and random rash. I’m a wreck about sad things in the world or a tv commercial I see. I’m a wreck when friends are suffering or a possum gets killed on the road. Some people are just deep feelers & I totally embrace being that way. I hope to go to my grave looking like an "old ship wreck” from a life well lived. I’m not worried about having wrinkles, or staying as thin as possible, I’m not worried about portraying a perfect Instagram image or home. I’m not worried about constantly spelling words wrong as I have dyslexia or what people will think of me or my opinions…. It’s very freeing to be an " old ship wreck” —The best people I know are a little bit of a wreck and I wouldn’t have it another way! ♥️🙏🏻😘 by @chelsea_harding_

The good old days ❤️

When there weren’t huge screens in our cars, kids played with salt and pepper shakers at restaurants, 90’s country was on the radio, and we couldn’t be reached 24-7 ❤️ #takemeback by @chelsea_harding_

10/10 recommend leaving a big city & moving to the country.

We haven’t been home for 2 weeks and I’m riding around the farm listening to “McArthur” & making sure everything is well taken care of and as I sit in the back pasture I feel so deeply thankful that God had this land for us to call home. ♥️

There is just something special about this place, I wish you could “feel” it here🥹🌾🚜🌼 by @chelsea_harding_
