POSTS STORIES REELS

"Effective stewardship leads to generative work and a generative culture. We turn wheat into bread—and bread into community. We turn grapes into wine—and wine into occasions for joyful camaraderie, conviviality, conversation, and creativity. We turn minerals into paints—and paints into works that lift the heart or stir the spirit. We turn ideas and experiences into imaginative worlds for sheer enjoyment and to expand the scope of our empathy."

Makoto Fujimura, Culture Care: Reconnecting with Beauty for Our Common Life

Welcome to my Lab (edited)

This account @alt_mix_cherry redefines itself as a resistance to art generated by 🤖
We have so many tools to make weird, bizarre, surrealistic, ugly art and explore our creativity even when it doesn't have the outcome of 🤖 generated art. We have so many digital tools that can be complimented by things that are created with objects by us.
That's why I find digital collage so fun because I can move things around and search for images/paintings/drawing/sounds I created/took, or from the app; I can mix some backgrounds with my art and others with some pictures that are in the app too.

If you want to know more about this insight of mine, subscribe to my newsletter send me a DM your e-mail and I will add you.
