When you’re an adult, there are very few places to make new friends, but from the moment I met Emily outside at a show, I knew our friendship was just beginning. (@callingallcaptains in Brooklyn 10/3/24)

Concert besties are different than day-to-day besties because there's a secret soul-bond only the two of you feel through the music that connects you.

In the two short years I got to know Emily, I learned what a compassionate, friendly, selfless, humble, adventurous, goofy, & supportive person she is.

I am grateful for every memory, every song, every piece of matching merch, & every show we'll share forever.

You left this plane way too soon, my dear. I'll hold you in my heart forever & look for your soul in every crowd until we rock out again. by @chescaa

Friends…

Unfortunately, I have gone through the painstaking process of getting a new phone number.

My previous personal number was reported as spam and dealing with multiple levels of Apple Support was atrocious. I have had sporadic service since July 20th, which means I missed a lot of texts/calls on my birthday 😭 (my apologies to anyone who thought I was ignoring them!)

Thankfully, I didn’t have to update my device too…but I may have to finally make the switch to a non-Apple cell phone pretty soon.

516-642-5162 is no longer in service.

If you would like to get in contact with me, send me a DM.

I have completed my first Queen sized blanket as a birthday gift to myself 💁🏻‍♀️✨

I saw this variegated yarn in June & immediately needed to see what one skein would look like. After that first huge granny square, I couldn’t stop. A little less than 8 skeins of variegated yarn & 6 other skeins of the main colors in this project were all I needed to really shut my brain off & explore my creativity. No pattern, just a lot of trial & error.

Grateful to my family, friends, & students who listened to me yap about this blanket for the last 40 days or so 😂

ITS FINALLY DONE! 😭🥳✅ by @chescaa

2 years…

I flipped through your CD collection the other day to admire your artwork on your ripped CDs

I don’t physically have much to remind me of you, but music… that’ll connect us in every life.

I love you forever, broseph 🖤 by @chescaa

Nothing like a mass sprint to start Warped Tour 2026 off RIGHT!
•
One of our voice students, Mai, went to her first Warped Tour this weekend! She & Ms. Chesca won tickets from Vans at Keep a Breast Foundation’s GRWM event on Friday 6/12 at Zumiez. Thank you so much to Shaney Jo, Steve Van Doren, & Kevin Lyman for an unforgettable festival!
