Sharing this as a post so people can share it and we can save this little earth angel.👼

If you’ve been following my stories in the past couple of days, you’ll know that @bethany.lyttle and I were walking to get lunch a couple of days ago and we saw this emaciated possibly abandoned puppy with a broken leg on the side of the road. (We are in Dongguan, China 🇨🇳 please see video and location where we found him in post above)
it’s almost like he was waiting for us. He hopped towards us and sat near us. Immediately, I started bawling my eyes out. His sweet nature and desperate look absolutely tore my heart to pieces. I was not going to leave him.
Thankfully, Bethany found an animal hospital and we convinced a taxi driver to allow a dog in the car for five minutes. We got him to the vet. We called our lovely Wardrobe assistant here in China called Talia to come and help translate to the emergency vet.
Within this time, we already grew attached to this puppy and we named him Louie Armstrong. He didn’t cry he didn’t bite. He was absolutely starving and must’ve been out there for days.. But somehow still a beautiful boy.
The x-ray showed a bad break in his front arm. The vet said if it was not operated on within the next two days he would live, but he wouldn’t be able to walk properly ever again…
Our hearts breaking for another time when we heard how much the surgery would cost, knowing we couldn’t afford it ourselves… we went home after the show and stayed up till three in the morning, setting up a GoFundMe for our little angel Louie, hoping people would help fund his surgery and his medication and his rehabilitation. Amazingly, overnight we already had enough for the first stage., and today Luis is having his metal plate inserted into his arm so that his bone can heal properly.
Louie still needs time, care and rehabilitation… but most of all he needs a home.
