One day your 2yr old will tell you his teddy bear is a Nigerian ogene dancer that speaks Igbo… it’s very important you listen, bring his imagination to life, and invent the 1st Igbo talking doll together!

Dear Igbo child,
Your curiosity, imagination, and creativity deserves cultural representation in the toys & books you learn and have fun with.

Happy Children’s Day, ụmụ ọma nilee. We see you, and Ị bụ ezigbo mmadụ (you’re great) 💛.

Mr. Obi (“Mr. Heart”) is a plush toy that sings and speaks positive affirmations in Igbo. Designed as a child’s inner voice in toy form, Mr. Obi encourages emotional awareness, calm choices, and cultural connection through play. This Igbo-American toy helps little ones name their feelings and respond in healthy ways while speaking Igbo. Since emotional growth takes time and patience, Mr. Obi reminds children to listen to their hearts along the way.
