A Taste of Paris in Minnesota for a "Love is Brewing" Bridal Shower 🤎☕ Whooo, my childhood friend Lellian is getting married in less than two weeks time! "Cafe Lellian" would not have been possible without @scarlettandflora's Darly's decorating and floral expertise, Sophia's superb coordination, and @isaanfire's hospitality and on-point barista skills (follow for his up-and coming Thai chili paste business)! Special thanks to the generosity of @expressomecoffee's Alyssa! She gifted us with a whole box of mini bottled lattes of the dairy Expresso Mes and oat milk Sugar Babies. I got to try a Sugar Baby and totally would order more! Totally recommend supporting or working with these local businesses for your bridal shower or wedding-related needs in Minnesota 💯 _ Minnesota weddings, Minnesota bridal showers, Minnesota floral decorating services, Minnesota expresso cart, Minnesota lattes, Thai chili paste, Minneapolis #Minnesota #MNWeddings #ExpressoMe #ScarlettAndFlora #IsaanFire by @chewsychan

Climb to new heights with Montreal's first Nepali restaurant @EverestMomo! I recently discovered Nepali cuisine during my Calgary trip one month ago. I would describe it as similar to a fusion between Chinese and Indian cuisine. Imagine to my surprise the week I arrived back when I encountered Nepalese cuisine in Montreal, steps away from the Côte-Sainte-Catherine Station! A big fan of momos (similar to dumplings with a thicker skin) since my trip, I was delighted to try Everest's 🗻 Chili momos (drenched in spicy tomato sauce) 🗻 Tandoori momos 🗻 Veggie chowmein (which was spicy enough for my liking!) 🗻 Chhoyla (smoky spicy pork) 🗻 Lentil bara (pancakes) with sauce "I can see [me] coming back for more" soon! _ #EverestMomo #ChiliMomos #Tandoori #Momos #LentilBara #Chhoyla #Chowmein #SpicyFood #Montreal #MontrealFood #Nepal #NepaleseFood #NepaliFood #MontrealNepaleseFood #MontrealNepaliFood #ChewsyChan #ChewsyChanMontrealFoodTours #MontrealFoodTourGuide #MtlFoodTourGuide by @chewsychan
"I thought I knew Vietnamese food well, as someone who is of Vietnamese origin, but this one really caught me by surprise. ...Never would have found it on my own, never would have known about it. ...Really yummy." Such glorious praise that one of my guests, @instason, gave for my Vietnamese Buddhist Tour! We shot this video in one-take and with no script right after the tour! 😱 If you want to experience what Jackson described, book my Vietnamese Buddhist Tour (link in bio)! _ #MontrealVietnameseBuddhistTour #MontrealsIntimateVietnameseVegeTour #MontrealTours #MontrealFoodTours #ViatorTours #MontrealVietFood #MontrealVietnameseFood #MontrealTourGuide #ChewsyChan #ChewsyChanMontrealFoodTours #ChewsyChanMtlFoodTours #ChanadienneTours by @chewsychan
One of the standout places I tried from my recent Calgary trip was @pathwaymomos. A Nepali momo is pretty similar to a dumpling, but it felt like the skin was thicker. At Pathway, I tried their tandoori chicken momos (bottom in the first photo), and I must say, I felt some type of WAY! The momo skin was so crispy and flavorful, I'm still drooling thinking about it. Also, the lamb sukuti (second photo) 🤤 It was lamb jerky served with my choice of steamed rice. It was so spicy, just like how I had chosen, and the lamb jerky's tougher texture paired so well with the rice and seasonings. Out of the chatpatte (puffed rice salad on the first photo right) and bhatmas sadeko (marinated soybeans at the first photo top), I preferred the former, as it had a great spicy kick to it. The bhatmas sadeko were a bit too crunchy for me. Shoutout to the server for being patient when I kept asking what everything was and letting me sample the uncooked puffed rice (like rice crispies) and beaten rice (similar to potato flakes). I had plenty of leftovers left for my family to sample, for the following meal, and for my flight back to Montreal. You bet I'll be back on the PATH to Pathway Momos the next time I'm in Calgary! _ #PathwayMomos #Tandoori #Momos #LambSukuti #Chatpatte #BhatmasSadeko #PuffedRice #Soybeans #SpicyFood #Calgary #CalgaryFood #Nepal #NepaleseFood #NepaliFood #CalgaryNepaleseFood #CalgaryNepaliFood #ChewsyChan #MontrealFoodTourGuide #MtlFoodTourGuide by @chewsychan

Next time you have a concert or game near the Bell Centre, check out @patisseriemahrouse's newest location right next door! I've been a fan of their stretchy Arab ice cream booza since I tried it at their original Acadie location. The sprinkle of pistachios on top gives a delightful crunch to the stringy booza. There isn't as much seating at the downtown location as the original, but you can certainly take out the other delectable pastries to go! I'll be sure to come back to try them soon! _ #ChewsyChan #PatisserieMahrouse #BellCentre #ArabDesserts #ArabIceCream #MontrealDesserts #MontrealIceCream #MontrealTours #MontrealFoodTours #MontrealTourGuide by @chewsychan
It was so sweet to try out dessert shop @nananamontreal that recently opened in Villeray! They're operated by the same owners as @ratafiamontreal Clockwise from the top-left in the first set of photos, we tried - Mr Earl: My fave choux pastry with Earl Grey and apricot! - Bowerbird: Look resembles a donut but texture is super light with a chocolate shell and interior like ice cream - Fresh Coco: Aptly named with the coconut mousse and fresh apple and cucumber - Kotone: Raspberry mousse with flavor reminiscent of goat's milk The second time, I savored that orange blossom ice cream you can see me gasping "Ooh" over at the end. What a sugar rush ride! by @chewsychan
Hello everyone! I'm getting ready to launch two of my food tours in the upcoming weeks! Stay tuned for more updates! _ #MontrealTours #MontrealFoodTours #MontrealTourGuide #ChewsyChan by @chewsychan
What a Filipino fusion feast! Victor @randomcuisine and I were lucky to have gotten seats when we attended the launch party of @bahay.mtl, in the former location of Tadhana. We tried the - Filipino chicken BBQ skewers - Caldereta birria siopao (steamed bun with braised beef and cheese and Chef Boyardee imitation dip!) - Bahay chicken sando - Loaded taro fries - Sinisang wings (chicken with tamarin sauce and honey-my fave!) - Ube colada (Victor tried and liked it!) Definitely check out Bahay if you're near Westmount and downtown and looking for fantastic Filipino food! by @chewsychan
Tea-se louise, there's no matcha for catching up with friends over @oishimatchabar! Along with hojicha tea, we tried the - Matcha lava cake - Matcha and yuzu scone - Mochi - Wagashi nerikiri (the bunny and pumpkin-shaped items) - Matcha muffin (not pictured and not on the menu but my fave out of them) Oishi Matcha has some tea tastings as part of Festival Accès Asie. Check out @festivalaccesasie for more events during Asian Heritage Month! by @chewsychan
There's no better way to treat yourself than with creamy coconut taro and Bailey's Cream (tastes exactly like the drink sans alcohol) ice cream from @calemcreamery! Last week, I ventured to my former neighborhood NDG and to my fave familiar haunt Ca Lem. I got to catch up with the owner Stephanie-I look up to her so much, her being a female entrepreneur of Vietnamese descent. Now, Ca Lem has several locations all over Montreal 👏. I still remember when it was just the NDG location and the closest spot to me for Viet and other Asian-flavored ice cream. Over the years, I've introduced my friends, family, and coworkers to Ca Lem, and I hope I can familiarize you with my fave ice cream joint, too. 🤗 by @chewsychan
