Mami Mago⋆.˚
Acrylic on canvas

Let me introduce you to my Mami Mago. She preferred to be called Mami Mago rather than “Grandma.” To know her was to know warmth, love and quiet strength. Her kitchen was a safe haven, where gorditas, laughter, and care were always shared.
This painting captures a moment that once felt ordinary but now means everything. After losing Mami Mago last year, it felt as though a piece of my childhood left with her. By preserving this memory on canvas, I honor the love she gave so freely and invite you to reflect on the people, places, and traditions that have always and will always feel like home.

Permítanme presentarles a mi Mami Mago.

thank you @earth2ink for creating a space where I can share a piece dedicated to my Mami Mago, come on down and see her alongside many other amazing and talented artists.
