Our Five Year Sustainability Impact Report is here and we couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished together. The past five years have truly been a labour of love, and this last year stretched us in more ways than we could have imagined. We’re excited to share the many milestones and achievements that reflect the environmental and social impact we’ve made in our community. It is an absolute honour to support meaningful change and to show what’s possible when a community commits to doing better. Some of the stats we’re especially proud of include our landfill diversion numbers, particularly around single-use plastics and composting. None of this would be possible without you. Your commitment to sustainable choices makes a real difference for the planet and our Kelowna community 🙏🏾 We’re also deeply grateful to support so many Canadian brands on our shelves and to work alongside incredible local food producers in our community kitchen and partners in our community. Thank you for being part of this journey and for continuing to choose sustainability with us. ✌🏽🖤🫙 by @chickpeacezerowaste
✨ It’s here!! ✨ The Fall 2025 Jilly Box officially launched today, and we’re over the moon to share that our Everything Bagel Topper is inside! 🥯💛 It has not been easy keeping our lips sealed about this one! When we first dreamed up this savoury little sprinkle of magic in 2020, we never imagined it would land in the hands of thousands of @thejillybox subscribers across Canada. A true labour of love. Every jar labelled, filled, sealed and wrapped all by hand. All 20,000 of them. This is a milestone moment! Thank you to @jillian.harris & team for believing in small businesses like ours. This experience will be something we’ll be forever grateful for! If you snagged a Jilly Box, we can’t wait for you to try our everything bagel topper. Sprinkle it on… well, everything. #TheJillyBox #EverythingBagelTopper #SmallBusinessLove #Chickpeace by @chickpeacezerowaste

👻 Our Halloween Costume Swap is Back! 🎃 Officially starting Monday Oct 13th but we’re so excited that you may spot the costume rack popping up a little early. Halloween can create a surprising amount of waste, especially when costumes are often worn just once. Our costume swap is a simple way to make Halloween a little more environmentally friendly, less wasteful, and more affordable. Have a costume that’s no longer getting use? Bring it in. Looking for something new-to-you? Take one home. Or do both! Let’s keep those costumes in circulation and out of the landfill for another Halloween. The rack will be at Chickpeace from Monday through Halloween. Stop by, bring a costume, take a costume, and help us make Halloween a little more sustainable by @chickpeacezerowaste
