I realized the last time I went here was a year ago. I was in the area and decided to come back.

🍔 Spicy Chipotle Burger - Comes with spicy cheese, jalapeño, lettuce, onion, tomato, pickles, and our house chipotle sauce. I did add spicy gyros. This burger tasted amazing. The quality of the meat was good and flavor was perfect. It was really messy and I need a lot of napkins.

Price: $18.58 which included tax and a jaritos drink, 10% discount for paying cash

New spot that recently opened. I was in the mood for a burger. It was in the city which is out of the way, but I still made the trip.

🍔 Double Jalapeno Cream Cheese Smash - white cheddar, jalapeño cream cheese, garlic aioli, grilled onions on a potato bun. This burger was good. Meat quality tasted good along with all the ingredients in the burger. It wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be. I would get this burger again.

🍟 Fries with cajun seasoning. Surprisingly this was good and I normally don’t like fries but the seasoning along with the house sauce tasted really good.

Price: $23.34 (Burger, Fries, Drink and the side of sauce)

Well, I ended up here by accident (no offense to this pizza place). The plan was to go to pizz’amici but they were full and it was an hour wait. So, I ended up going to a place near by.

🍕Cheese and Basil - This pizza was good, plain and simple. It tasted good and was pretty light.

🍕 Jalapeño and Spinach - This was good, however with the quantity of toppings they put it’s not as easy to eat. It did taste good. Although pizza was good, this just wasn’t it for me. I have had better coal pizza before.

I don’t recall the last time I had mandi. This restaurant was new to my knowledge. They do have their own parking lot which is a plus for Devon restaurants.

🍛 Grilled Chicken Mandi - The chicken was full of spices which I liked. Even though we didn’t order spicy, it did have some heat. This order was for two people and it’s a whole chicken! The serving size was perfect. I didn’t take a picture of the sauces, but there is a chipotle type sauce in a red ketchup bottle. There’s also white sauce which is garlic sauce. I wish they gave some more fries 😅

Price: $40 which includes tax and two drinks.

I know they recently opened a store front and have a cart as well for events. I finally got a chance to try this place!

🍩 Smack Sandwich - Donut with ice cream with biscoff topping and sauce. This tasted really good and it serves one person. The donut was soft so I know it was fresh.

Price: $10.61 which includes taxes

I actually came here to get chai, which I did end up getting but didn’t take a picture. I noticed they sold gelato and specifically had a sign about a biscoff sundae type item.

🍨 Biscoff Gelato and Vanilla Gelato. It comes with biscoff crumbs and sauce with a cookie too. This tasted good, however the lady making this crammed all of it into this glass so it started melting over the outside making it messy. Aside from the presentation, it tasted good and I would get this item again.

Price: $8 something. I got this a while ago and forgot to post it.

Mexican Halal in the city!

🥩Steak Bowl - Steak, Mexican and White Rice, black beans, spicy queso, mexican cheese, pico de gallo, mexican corn, jalapeño, sour cream, lettuce, tortilla chips and chipotle sauce. It was good, but the rice seemed dry. The steak tasted good along with all the million ingredients I added.

I have yet to find a place that has better frozen custard!

🍫 Triple Chocolate Concrete: Andy’s chocolate frozen custard blended with chocolate chip cookie dough and melted chocolate chip.

This shawarma spot is coming to lombard soon. Since, I was in bridgeview, I decided to check it out sooner!

🥙 Shawarma Combo - Both sandwiches were beef as the combo comes with two. The second picture shows the actual sandwich (swipe right). It doesn’t come with garlic or tahini on the side (although it does have tahini on there), so I asked for some. Normally, fries don’t taste good but in this case, these fries tasted really good! I would definitely come back!

🧊 Biscotti Creme Latte Iced - Lotus Biscoff

It was good, but not that much liquid as it was majority ice. It’s a good idea to mix it thoroughly before drinking. I would get this again.

Halal Japanese Hibachi!

🥩 Filet Mignon
🥦 Mixed Veggies
🍜 Noodles
🍚 Rice
🍤 2 pieces

This is a good experience, especially for a birthday. I ordered the filet mignon which comes with rice, noodles, veggies and 2 shrimp. The food tasted good, however they put way too much soy sauce in the noodles. The rice might been over cooked a little but it still tasted fine. I would still go back as the filet mignon was good. They do have someone sing for birthday’s and a little fire show.

This was pretty far out in the middle of no where. I haven’t tried Moroccan food so I thought I would give it a shot.

🍗 Lamb Shank Tagine - Tender lamb in stew with prunes, cinnamon and almonds with couscous. Good flavor, meat was tender but it was just one piece with not a lot of meat.

🥚 Merguez Tagine - Moroccan sausage, tomato sauce and egg. This was basically just sauce with a little meat and eggs. I would not get this item again. The portions were small.

There aren’t many pizza places like this and I was in the mood for pizza.

🍕 Neapolitan Style Pizza - Ordered the standard cheese pizza but then immediately said “nah, let’s get disrespectful” and added smoked mozz, sautéed spinach, and giardiniera. This thing came out fresh like it had something to prove. Smoked mozz was melting like it owed me rent, spinach was sautéed like it was trying to get promoted and the giardiniera came in HOT like a Chicago auntie with opinions.
