6 years ago today, my life changed forever - i was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease. i would often stay up late at night trying to figure out what my life would look like…the struggle of having to adapt to a new way of life was really difficult, but i have become a stronger person because of everything i have been through, from all the weight-loss to all the weight-gain, i couldn’t even recognize myself for a while. i am so grateful to all of the nurses and doctors who have helped me get this far, and to my family for helping me stay strong during the difficult time of my diagnosis, and supporting me every day since. i am proud to say that because of this experience, i have been able to easily decide the path i want to take in the future, and become a nurse to help people like all of the many nurses have for me. i am so thankful to God for putting me through this and allowing me to see so much more in life than i would have. this disease has helped shape me into the person i am today, and i’m not sure who i would be without it. i haven’t been held back from trying new things and wanting to always do more because of this disease, and that is what i am most proud of. i can’t wait to see where life takes me next! 💜🎗 #invisibleillness by @chloe.niesen

Thank you @marianufootball. It’s been a wild ride! I couldn’t imagine my time here without football, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of something that makes saying goodbye so hard. It’s been truly a blessing to be able to come back for another season! Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey at Marian! I honestly don’t have words to describe how this all feels right now, but I’m glad that I have so many shoulders to cry on🤍 Once a knight…⚔️ by @chloe.niesen
