Surprise! I composed a song on the spot during @scojomusic recording session of an upcoming album. Thank you to Sam Ross @sam771 for helping me flush out the chords to make them prettier and to Scott for letting me record a song in anticipation of @harombone second baby (aka @shakeemupjb band nephew) Taro 😍. This was recorded in January only a couple weeks after he was born! He and mama are doing great ❤️

Cover Art is by the incredible Emily Tanaka @studioemzi - it was so, so fun to help design this with her and watch it become such a beautiful piece.

I don’t really like composing so hope you enjoy this small little song 💕

Available now on Spotify and soon to be available on Bandcamp. Link in my story and bio 🎶

So excited to be back at @monpetitmojave with our “Midnight in Paris” show!
This venue is special to my heart as we got married there! (Last pic by @julielaflammephotos ) and @jeremielevisamson was playing the violin for us ❤️
When Jeremie & @jacquelinebh contacted me to play again there, I was so happy!
We’ll be in sextet with an amazing team! Special guests @jeremielevisamson on violin, and @chloejazz3 on clarinet & saxophone, @setemupjoe on guitar, @sammontoothmusic on bass, @tsugumishikano on drums, and myself @chloeperrierjazz on voice!
It’s going to be a magical night under the stars!
And don’t forget to honk at the end of the night! 😂👌🎶

What a beautiful night of world music last Saturday at @levittvibepasadena in Memorial Park! 🌎 🎶

It was really special to return to a venue where I played some of my earliest LA shows about 15 years ago - and even more special to see that some people who came to see me perform had also attended last time I was here, back in 2011! I was accompanied by a full band: @adrien_prevost @mingusthedog @chloejazz3 and special guests @ewanchung and @anniezhouguzheng

It was also a joy to connect with 2 co-headliners: songstress @melo_gia_music 🇵🇷 and multi instrumentalist/fellow accordionist 🪗 @aradabandjian 🇦🇲

Thanks to all who attended (people and pups 🐕) and thanks to @levittfoundation and @pasadenaparksandrec for having us!

The band worked hard and did great at the final concert 🎶

That being said please swipe to see the shenanigans we get up to. You may even catch a bear sighting 🐻

Special thank you to the faculty of the camp for always making it a special time - ❤️ you all

Come escape the Ordinary and see something magical. Its more than just the music of Django Reinhardt, its what happens when a modern-day Vaudeville act crashes the party at the Moulin Rouge! Limited tix for both shows. Available at www.thesixstringsociety.com

⭐️ Art Announcement ⭐️

Very excited to say I was one of the artists picked to do a piece for the @salemcatmuseum new exhibit that is opening today! If you are in Salem, MA and love cats I highly recommend making a trip out to see all the amazing art on display. This is my first hand embroidery piece to be in a museum and excited that it’s in the witchy capital of the country. Exhibit will be on display until July. Thank you to @witchcitykitty the opportunity!
