I used to think something truly refreshing had to be complicated and time-consuming.

Then a village in Armenia taught me refreshing means something simpler: picked this morning, completely natural, and really good.

Tava’s team in Dilijan showed me how. Now, you can taste the result on the menu.

Ask for ChocoPassion when you visit @tavadilijan in Armenia.

Big thanks @vardavetisyan_vardo @anahitghalumyan @arshak__markosyan Eric, Yasin and co 🇦🇲⛰️🥘🫂🥳 by @chocolako

From wobbling -> to waymaker

The girl who didn’t speak the language now has women crossing oceans to hear her voice.

I don’t take journeys of growth lightly because it’s the same grace that lifted me up when I didn’t feel like I belonged. When I wasn’t Nigerian enough or American enough.

Self-advocacy became throat chakra work long before I knew about energy bodies.

Yoga is where I found my voice.
Now I teach women how to find and use theirs.

The myomectomy at 38 taught me something my body already knew: the throat (voice) and the womb (creation) are the same bridge, and when one part is blocked, it shows up in the other.

My message for every woman?
Prioritize your relationship with your womb. Everything else in life falls into place after that, because feeling good is feeling God.

I’m 43 and and a bit embarrassed to admit that…

1. I travel around the world and live a life my ancestors in Benue State, Nigeria couldn’t have imagined for a woman. Some days I still feel like I’m not doing enough. Like the evidence should’ve convinced me by now, and it hasn’t.

2. I sometimes hold myself back on purpose, so I don’t have to face what it feels like if what I build turns out small compared to what I know is possible. For me, playing it safe has not always been about safety. It’s mostly because I’d rather not have to grieve the gap.

3. I have three degrees, a company across three verticals, and a certification I built from scratch that women fly in from five continents to earn, and I still catch myself asking permission to take up space. The letters after my name haven’t made the doubt go away.

4. I facilitate cacao ceremonies for other women’s healing, and I still experience moments when it’s hard to get still enough to receive my own medicine. I hold space better than I hold myself sometimes.

5. I am the first woman in my family to not have an arranged marriage, and I’m still learning that freedom isn’t the same as knowing what you want. Choosing for myself is a muscle I’m building.

6. My brain runs on “when it feels like it” time, not clock time, and I built an entire company around routines I still forget to follow.

7. If I could sit my 20 year self down, I’d tell her to feel pleasure on purpose, to let oxytocin move through her nervous system regularly instead of rationing it like something she had to earn. It took two decades to learn joy is a requirement.

Here’s what I’ve come to learn by 43:

Mastery isn’t the absence of doubt. It’s staying in relationship with it through the continuum of growth. The body remembers what the resume can’t prove, and becoming isn’t a stage to graduate from because it’s the practice itself.

If any of this is you too, you’re not behind or alone.
I feel you. I am you.

Follow along as I keep relighting my spark ✨

Coco and Cacao don’t care where I’ve been or what the flights were like. They just care that I’m here now, getting my face licked like I invented joy.

Zero chill. Full body wiggles. Happy to be home.

When belly laughter hurts so good, it means I’m home.

My sister, three brothers, and three cousins showed up and showed out. Our reunion was everything and more.

I love us.

March didn’t come to play, and neither did I.
I had a blast!!! 😜🔥🎉

There’s something about this month that cracks the world open. The equinox shifts. Seasons turn. And somewhere in that cosmic exhale, I was born.

This birthday felt different.
Fuller.
Like I finally stopped rushing toward the woman I’m becoming and just...let her be all the way here.
Fully.

Aries energy doesn’t ask permission.
It ascends, lights up, and leads.
That’s always been my nature, and I stopped apologizing for it when I hit my 40s 😜🤭

Friends, thank you for the love, birthday messages, and prayers sent my way.
I receive every single one with a big and grateful heart 🩷🧡❤️🤎🩵💙

My prayer for you this season is that whatever has been heavy finally gets put down, and whatever has been waiting on the real you finally gets let in.

We don’t just turn older in March. We turn more.

xo 🍫

a celebration for the Queens,
all the women,
that remain fierce,
but soft.

2025 asked for a lot.
So I listened and I shed.

This was a year of subtraction to make room for truth, and remove identities and timelines I had outgrown.

I dissolved into the abyss more than once so I could empty and listen intently.

The year began rough.
I lost three people I love to unexpected deaths.
Grief became a teacher I couldn’t bypass.
The Death Walker training I attended in Australia reshaped my relationship with separation.

Kenya expanded my heart.
Tasmania, land no one in my lineage had touched, held both ache and awe for me.

Impermanence revealed herself again and again, reminding me how thin transitions really are.

What remains feels honest.
Alive. Essential.

I spent less time online and more time with what’s real: my heart, my people, my poodles, the land.

I studied nature like scripture because her seasons, whispers, and devotion to cycles are wise.

I chose to be a beginner again: deeper embodiment in yoga, learning padel, shaping clay, gardening, glamping, reading under open skies. Remembering that devotion is often quiet and consistent.

And still, deep gratitude.
For shedding, for seasons and for the fire quietly gathering beneath the surface.

I feel hopeful.
I hope you do too.

Happy New Year, Friends.
I’m really glad we made it to 2026. by @chocolako

Nothing fills you up like coming home to pure joy.

Coco and Cacao don’t care if I’ve been gone five minutes or five hours. They greet me like I’m their whole world returning.

Just two wiggly bodies and wagging tails reminding me what really matters.

This kind of love feeds something deep inside 🐩🐾🥰 by @chocolako

I love my life.

Not because it’s perfect (spoiler: it’s not), but because I get to wake up every day and teach what sets my soul on fire, and witness adults remembering their innergy in the most profound ways.

Last week I was leading 300+ souls through cacao ceremony in Kenya. This week I’m preparing sacred space for another group of seekers. Tomorrow? Who knows what magic awaits.

Eight years ago I traded boardrooms for ceremony circles. Swapped my MBA suits for flowing clothes that let me breathe. Left the corporate ladder to guide others home to themselves.

Some days are messy.
Some months the numbers don’t add up.
Sometimes I question everything.

But then I see a woman’s eyes light up when she finally feels her own wisdom, and I zap back into alignment. It’s really cool when that happens.

I dance under stars.
I hold space for transformation.
I pray wholeheartedly.

This life chose me as much as I chose it.

And even on the hard days, my heart whispers the same truth: you’re exactly where you need to be.

Here’s to the brave ones creating lives that feel like home ✨🫶🏿✨

Swipe through to feel glimpses of bliss and beauty that made me feel alive at the #LamuYogaFestival

Sailing on a traditional dhow as the sun melted into the Indian Ocean.

Dancing barefoot under a blanket of stars with souls who just GET IT.

Then leading 300+ beautiful humans through a heart-opening Cacao Ceremony that left us all buzzing with connection.

We didn’t practice yoga.
We became it.

Every sunset, every dance, every belly felt laughter reminded me why this work of rituals, release, and rupture matters.

Why gathering in community changes everything.

Leading ceremony in Africa touches the deepest parts of my soul. Like I was born for this.

This is what lights me up.
This is what I live for.

Thank you Lamu.
Thank you Africa.

This day filled my heart to overflowing.
