Behind every great gallery are two people who believed art could become something larger than themselves.

Guillo Pérez 3 @guilloperez3 is a Dominican-American expressionist oil painter whose work has been described as museum-caliber, with a growing impact on contemporary creative communities that earned recognition from The New York Times as a “Star Maker.”

Marcolina Mercado @maromer grew up immersed in the arts and later became a legal professional before evolving fully into curation and cultural building. She helped shape not just the vision, but the environment where that work could live: refined, intentional, and deeply considered.

Together, they founded Marcolina’s Fine Arts Gallery in Tampa as a destination for serious contemporary art and collectors seeking something more intimate and personal; an experience designed to feel private, elevated, and intentionally curated.

We believe art isn’t decoration. It’s a reflection of who you’re becoming.

Original works. Private events. Figure drawing. Art classes. Community.

From your first original piece to a growing collection, the goal remains simple: make fine art approachable, personal, and unforgettable.

Private showroom by appointment. Ships worldwide. Payment plans available on all original works.

Every painting is a world. Which one speaks to you?

Most of us see a sunset and say, “Beautiful colors.”
Guillo Pérez 3 @guilloperez3 starts naming them. 🩷 That lavender, that burnt umber that shows up for about two minutes, the cadmium red light...

It’s the thing I love most about watching an artist work. They look at what we all see and make us slow down.

Next sunset, try it. What colors do you actually see? 🌅 Guillo’s work is at Marcolina’s, by appointment. Link in bio. by @choosemarcolinas

The studio has a sky today.

A canvas in progress and that late afternoon light at Marcolina’s Hacienda.

Come behind the scenes with Guillo Pérez 3, where an original painting starts taking shape long before it finds its wall.

Would you hang the finished piece, or pull up an easel?

After what felt like endless rain in Tampa, the blue skies are finally back. So, a little color for your walls🐟

Give this one a minute. It starts to feel like you’re standing at the glass of an aquarium, and the longer you look, the more fish show up. How many can you find?

Acuario, mixed media, 40 x 50 in. Original by Willy Pérez @willyperezartist

Want to see it up close? Book a private viewing in our showroom, just you and the painting, no crowds. Not in Tampa? We’ll walk you through it on a virtual viewing from anywhere in the world. DM us or visit website. Link in bio. by @choosemarcolinas

This way…or that way? Almost there.

OUR FAVORITE VISITORS CAME BY AGAIN.
Yesterday, just before sunset, we saw our favorite DOLPHINS.

They come through almost every day as the sun begins to go down. And whenever we’re outside by the water, they seem to come a little closer—as if they’re stopping by to say hello.

It has become one of our favorite rituals at the Hacienda.

We’re planting trees, growing food and flowers, creating art, cooking, building habitats, watching the birds, butterflies and wildlife—and slowly seeing this little world around us become more alive.

The Hacienda was never meant to be just a house.

It’s becoming a place where art, nature, food, creativity, wildlife and everyday life all exist together.

Some evenings we work in the garden. Some evenings we cook outside. Some evenings we make art.

And sometimes we just stop everything because the dolphins have arrived.

This beautiful little world keeps growing around us.

See you tomorrow, friends.

If You Come Back, Do It in Tears.

Yes, the bare teeth are part of it. And yes, it leaves the painting entirely.

Mel Quintana @cherubbum has a way of making you look once, then look again because you’re not quite sure you caught everything the first time.

Mixed media, raw edges, loose drawing, layered figures, and a piece that refuses to stay inside the rectangle.

Swipe in. This piece gets better up close.

If You Come Back, Do It in Tears by Mel Quintana, available through Marcolina’s.
