It’s impossible to put the Alaska experience into words, and pictures will never do it justice.

The real, the raw, the joy, the beauty, and the struggles colliding everyday.

It exposes the good and the ugly in each of us and truly challenges us to be better and more resilient people.

We love it, we love this life, and we live for these summers together! 🤍 by @chris_hartis

I love this life I get to live with this woman by my side. My adventure buddy, my co-pilot, my best friend. Happy 30th Birthday and Happy TWO YEAR anniversary! I cannot wait to celebrate with you. I love you Brianna Rose 🌹 by @chris_hartis

To everyone who came out to help us start the demo of our first home, we appreciate you more than you will ever know!

The memories that we already got to make in this house with you all are priceless and we are looking forward to so many more (preferably on a nicer patio in the future 😉)!

We’re beyond thankful for our amazing community of friends here in Jax ❤️ by @chris_hartis

Definitely counting my many blessings today. My biggest one is the woman standing next to me in this photo and the one who smoked me in the turkey trot this morning. ❤️ 🦃 🏃 by @chris_hartis

After many attempts to convince Brianna to have our photos taken, she finally said yes. 😉 Thank you to @derek25marsilio for capturing some great moments with my favorite airplane and my best friend! 🦫🍊✈️ #rainbowriverlodge by @chris_hartis

Been off of social media this summer, but wanted to post some photos of a cool spot I got to go with Tango Papa ✈️ 🦫 🍊. This season has been a busy one! Hard to believe it’s already half way over. #alaska #rainbowriveraviation #dehavillandbeaver by @chris_hartis

When it’s too windy to land supplies at the lodge, we pivot and find a way!!!

Brianna Rose HARTIS,

It’s been one whole year since my last name became OUR last name. Marrying you has been the greatest gift that the Lord has given me. Your overflowing joy and humble spirit are infectious to everyone around you. You speak the truth while at the same time reflecting a gentleness and authentic love for whoever you are speaking to. You are patient (especially with me) and are quick to forgive. When things get tough, you find another gear and push even harder. You challenge me to spend more time in the Word, more time with the Lord, and more time away from things that distract me from what’s important in this life.

I am honored to be your husband and honored that I get to celebrate your birthday today. Looking back at these photos, it’s crazy to think how much has happened in just one year. While this next year will be the last that we have together in our twenties, I know that life will always feel “young” as long as we are together. Happy birthday my love ❤️ #mywife #happybirthday #happyanniversary by @chris_hartis
