Church planting missionary to West Africa. Shining the bright light of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those in darkness without Him

POSTS STORIES REELS

Wonderful report from Jeremy-Rebekah Hall

“Brayden is doing much better! They plan to keep him in ICU another day or two to get all the ketones out of his system. Lord willing, he’ll be home in a few of days. Thank you all for your prayers!” by @christ_islife

Powerful testimony by Shahriq Khan Ministries

“What will you say to Allah on Judgment Day for leaving Islam?”

That’s what my family asked me after I left Islam.

While I was in a brief atheist phase, it gave me chills.

Before meeting Christ, that question terrified me.

But after accepting Christ, there is no way it can scare me now.

One day I WILL stand before GOD. And the question that will matter isn’t “why did you leave a religion?”

It’s: “Did you accept My Son?”

When I stand face to face with God, it will not be how many prayers or how much fasting I did. That is not the scale.

“Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:12.

I was terrified of facing God for leaving Islam: Because the real terror was facing Him having rejected His Son. But then I found Christ.

On Judgement Day, there’s only one answer that holds weight. Not my track record, but His blood.

They asked what I’d say to God for leaving but then, when I accepted Christ, I finally understood the only answer that will matter is Him.

Make sure you have the Son." by @christ_islife

This is shared from church planting missionary Jeremy-Rebekah Hall

“ Please keep our son Brayden in your prayers. He has been admitted to the hospital with diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and is expected to spend the next couple of days in ICU. We would appreciate your prayers for his recovery and for the doctors caring for him.” by @christ_islife

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for and supporting the ministry in Benin, West Africa! The Lord has been tremendously faithful, and He continues to add to the churches week after week!

We are especially excited to share that a new church plant has recently been started out of Église Baptiste Christ Est La Vie in Agassa, Godomey!

Gildas and his wife were both saved and biblically baptized. They were then called, discipled, trained, and sent out as church-planting missionaries to Zogbodomey!

This absolutely thrills my soul! This is exactly what we pray and work toward with every church plant: seeing people saved, discipled, trained, and eventually sent out to reach others with the Gospel. To see this fruit so early, especially within the first couple of years, is an incredible testimony of God’s grace!

To those who may be skeptical or wonder whether God can do something like this, I sincerely invite you to come and see for yourself. You will leave encouraged, challenged, and reminded that God is still at work!

God is building His Church in Benin, and I believe we have only begun to see what He intends to do! All glory belongs to Him!

Will you commit to praying for this new church plant? by @christ_islife

Praise the Lord for how He is working in Bible baptist church of Tori Bossito! Please continue praying! by @christ_islife

This morning, I asked you all to pray that the Lord would open a door for me to share the Gospel and see a soul come to Christ.

Earlier today at Starbucks, we attempted to share the Gospel with several people, but most weren’t very receptive. I found myself wondering how and when the Lord would open that door.

Tonight, following the service at the missionary auction, I had a conversation with Terry, the auctioneer. As we talked, the Holy Spirit prompted me to ask him a simple question: “If you were to die today, where would you spend eternity?”

He confidently responded that he would go to Heaven. When I asked him why, he explained that he was saved. However, when I asked what would happen if he were committing a sin when Jesus returned, he responded that he would go to Hell.

As we continued talking, he shared that he had been raised in the Church of God and had always believed that salvation could be lost.

I asked him if he would be willing to sit down for a few minutes and study the Bible together. We opened God’s Word and began looking at John 10:27-30, along with several other passages of Scripture.

As we worked through the Scriptures, he began to understand the security we have in Jesus Christ and the Gospel of grace. By the end of our conversation, he understood and believed the Gospel!

What a reminder that God is always working, even when we don’t immediately see the doors opening. Sometimes, the opportunity He has prepared is waiting just around the corner.

Would you commit to praying for Terry? Several believers will be following up with him, and we want to see him continue to grow in his understanding of God’s Word.

Never underestimate what God can do when we simply make ourselves available and are willing to share the Gospel!
