Release day. “Everything’s Gonna Be Allright” is out now. If you’ve followed me for a while, you’ve probably noticed I’ve slowly started releasing music again this fall. I took a long break from my Chris Tall project, not because I didn’t care, but because I was genuinely overwhelmed. Making music isn’t one skill. It’s production, songwriting, recording, arranging, mixing, building a brand, learning how to release properly… it’s a whole maze. Trying to learn all of it at once burned me out so badly I came close to quitting. On top of that, I was stuck in a perfectionism loop where nothing I made ever felt good enough. No matter how much I worked, the bar kept moving. Eventually I hit a point where I knew I couldn’t keep grinding myself into the floor. I stepped back, looked honestly at what was going on, and realized I needed help untangling it. Getting real support was a turning point. At the start of this year, the joy slowly came back. I felt a spark again, enough to return to the songs I’d abandoned, the ones that still had life in them, and finally finish them. This track is one of those. It’s been years in the making. The chorus was rewritten multiple times. I brought Desmond back in for extra ad-libs. I rearranged the whole thing over fifty times. And there were moments I genuinely thought it would never “click”. I’m not the fastest producer out there, but I am stubborn, I won’t release something until I’ve turned over every creative stone I have. One thing I realized along the way: making a happy, hopeful track that still feels sincere, not corny! is harder than it looks. I tried to stay on the right side of that line. I hope I did. I made this song to lift people, the dancers, the dreamers, the ones navigating their own storms. It blends the drive of dance music with the bright, high-life spirit I grew up loving, and it only came to life because of the incredible people involved in it. Vocals: Desmond Foster bringing pure heart & fire. Backing vocals: Aurelia delivering her massive choir power Guitars: David Silva giving the track its sunlit feel.
