Rick Ross Direct 5.14b✅️ Didn't get any video of the send because I didn't think it would go that session. The video playing is the closest I had gotten to sending at that point Glad to be apart of the 5.14 club with this one being my first Thanks to everyone who belayed me on one move for about 3 weeks 😂 yall are the best! And @eeejayenn for the belay on the send @cruxpowerclimbing @contactclimbing by @christian__andrus
Orion 5.13d R FFA Still in awe this route exists and goes! Went back to get photos 3 weeks later because of a week long storm that rolled through St. George. They came out SOOO good! 📷Photos by the lovely @fallonclimbs ❤️ by @christian__andrus
The Emerald 5.13d✅️ First ascented in 1994 by Craig Keaty, this is the absolute king line of Queen Creek Canyon. Going right up the main overhanging wall at the pond, people have been walking past this climb daily for generations, but it had yet to see a second ascent. Ever since I sent its little brother (a stout 5.13a endurance test piece called Desert Devil), I've been looking at the emerald wondering if it still goes. A good amount of the holds on The Emerald are glued on, and the ones that aren't are what some would call portable. While stick clipping through it to hang draws and clean, I had to surgically remove a bush that had been growing out of a main hold, really telling how much time it had gone untouched. After 10 attempts over 3 weeks working it, and 31 years since the first ascent, I earned the second ascent of The Emerald. I performed the best segment of climbing I have ever done. The climbing was limit, but I had performed it perfectly. There was nothing I could have done to be more efficient or climb it better. It was just me, the rock, and the reason why I climb! by @christian__andrus
Meet Adventure Series Athlete, Christian @christian__andrus Christian is an absolute crusher and in our opinion, the future of climbing! We are absolutely STOKED to have him as Nebu/Adventure Series athlete. Christian has been a long time wearer of our gear and has been ticking off hard trad lines, gnarly first ascents, and some amazing feats in Zion. This is only scratching the surface. Follow along the adventure series to hear more about Christian and his past/upcoming adventures! #rockclimbing #adventure #adventurestory #climber #climb by @christian__andrus
Caught someone whipping the last pitch of postitve vibrations by @christian__andrus
Incredible hulk!!!! @nathan_larson_ and I went up positive vibrations this past weekend. A 1200' 5.11a that is about as classic as it gets! I had this totally unnecessary goal of doing it in a car to car style push, which ended up taking us 14 hours. Since neither of us had done anything on the hulk before, onsiting the hike, climb, and the rappels for that long of a day was a worthy challenge for the mental stamina. by @christian__andrus
What do you even say about 1 year? I would say Its the start of a "long term" relationship. Measuring in years instead of months. Its no longer a small relationship. We're in this, together, for the long haul One year with you has been exiting, purposful, and a love filled montage of beautiful passion Its hard to think its only been 1 year, when it feels like a decades worth of memories and time together. So fortunate you have chosen me to be your life partner @fallonclimbs by @christian__andrus
