We’ve added a dessert for the holiday season…..TEMBLEQUE! Available starting this Friday @centralmarketlancaster “Tembleque is a traditional Puerto Rican coconut pudding named for its characteristic “wiggly” or trembling, gelatin-like texture.” It has a mildly sweet flavor & It’s topped with cinnamon for a perfect combination! Pictured is Puerto Rico & I was to happy to find a cookie cutter/mold to match its shape of the island!! by @christinas_criollo

APPRECIATION POST! As I wrap up an incredible month, I want to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who continues to support my small business. Thanks to this amazing community here in Lancaster city, my stand at @centralmarketlancaster is thriving—even during these challenging economic times!! August was absolutely amazing, highlighted by several completely sold-out Saturdays! While I am incredibly proud to operate as a “one woman show” (with the invaluable help of my two stand employees), balancing day-to-day stand production with my growing catering obligations can sometimes be a delicate juggling act. Because my food is prepared fresh off-site, my goal is always to fully stock the stand each morning. However, there are days when demand exceeds my expectations & I am unable to leave the kitchen to restock. Selling out is wonderful but I always regret when a customer misses out on their favorite items. I am deeply grateful to every regular, local & tourist who visits the stand. THANK YOU for your continued patronage, patience & support. Let’s make September just as amazing!! by @christinas_criollo

Wait a minute wait a minute!!! I JUST realized that I’ve hit the 10 year mark @centralmarketlancaster I was already 5 years in as a small business owner hustling in the hot Summer months vending at any outdoor market I could participate in in hopes of attracting more catering clientele. And one day, a young lady said to me, “You should apply to become a vendor at Central Market downtown. You would do so well there because your food is amazing!” After much hesitation-only because I knew I would have to be open early in the morning and I was NOT a morning person! 🤣😂🤣 I took that leap and it was the best business decision I’ve made thus far. I was surprised to hear of how many years some vendors have been at market….i’m talking about 20, 30 and even 50+ years! I never thought I would ever stay this long and here I am…already 10 years and they have gone by so quickly!!! Cheers 🥂 to me! I got another 18 years before I can retire…😂🤣😂 wish me luck! 😜 by @christinas_criollo
