🥎 And we are done. Thank you Bussy Cats for being a fabulous team and a genuinely great group of folks! We beat the winless team allegations and had a fun run in the playoffs (3 games with an epic finale). We had two amazing captains and overall a good time. Being part of a team you truly vibe with is the best! I love being part of @oqslinfo every season and can't wait to see everyone next year! by @christine.always
Sought out the new Thunderhead monument this afternoon. It was beautiful and probably is stunning when it's lit up at night. My 2025 Graphic Novel & Comic Top 10 📚 I read a lot of comics. Honestly, I mostly read comics. I read over 100 in 2025. I’ve narrowed down my absolute favourites to these ten standouts (plus a few honourable mentions for series that I just couldn't leave out). Shoutout to @opl_bpo for keeping the shelves stocked with big titles and independent books. Swipe to see the art/stories that made the cut! Have you read any of these? Do you have any recommendations that I should add to my 2026 TBR? #graphicnovel #ReadingList #readingrecap #comics by @christine.always
My 2025 Fiction Top 5 📚 To be fair, I read a lot of comics this year/always, but these five novels were the big standouts. They are books that really stuck with me after I returned them to the library. If I bought all the books I enjoyed, we would need a third room and a ladder but if I could I would for sure add these. Swipe to see the books that made the cut! (All available at @opl_bpo) Have you read any of these? Have any recommendations for me based on these? #booksbooksbooks #bookstagram #fictionbooks by @christine.always
My 2025 Non-Fiction Top 5. 📚 Out of everything I read this year, these are the five non-fiction titles that actually stuck with me. They challenged my perspectives, gave me new frameworks for thoughts and were some of the best uses of my @opl_bpo library card in 2025. Have you read any of these? Have any recommendations for me based on these? #booksbooksbooks #ReadingList #bookstagram by @christine.always
Adorable portraits from @ashopdowntown of Bones and Dorothy 💚❤️ Thank you @amandabobbitt84 🎁 by @christine.always
Built this cute little Izakaya from LOZ (not Lego) that I got on Black Friday. Perfect project for this cozy time of year. These tiny sets can be frustrating when the pieces don't fit together perfectly but it still turned out cute. by @christine.always
My little weekend project was building something that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs. Fun little build while watching Traitors! #LegoStarWars #MillenniumFalcon #Lego by @christine.always
Had a great time yesterday with the annual Pumpkining 🎃 Made some classic Halloween Mummy Dogs and cheese ball plus @round_crowns made delicious cookies. She also carved a sassy pumpkin 🧡 by @christine.always
