Love when clients allow me to get creative!! It’s such a blessing! by @christinegracephoto

My story:
Photography wasn’t something I planned—it was a journey that found me. Twelve years ago, I was gifted a camera by a kind man whose wife had passed away. He told me his wife would have been proud to see it in the hands of someone about to explore the world, as this was their goal and the reason they bought it to begin with!
Being pregnant with Ella and having Mileena, I realized something: I didn’t just want to capture memories of my children, I needed to tell their story. Not just any story, but the story I saw through my eyes—the fleeting moments, the laughter, the connections that go deeper than a simple click.

At the time, we didn’t have the means to invest in formal education, but that didn’t stop me. I was determined to learn. I spent countless hours photographing anyone I could, frustrated at times, and ready to give up. But my love for storytelling kept me going. Eventually, I invested in workshops and courses, refining my natural talent and honing my eye for capturing meaning in every shot. Over time, my camera became more than just a tool—it was my way of preserving the legacies of families and moments of pure emotion.

I still remember my own wedding day and the deep regret I felt when I received the photos. There was no connection, no story, and nothing of the magic I had hoped to capture. That experience became my driving force. I learned that choosing a photographer is more than a decision—it’s about trust, connection, and capturing the essence of who you are.

I believe in creating more than just pretty pictures. I believe in uncovering visual stories beyond the bounds of time, preserving fleeting moments in a way that allows you to relive them, years down the line. My work is about connection, storytelling, and crafting timeless memories for those who value depth, meaning, and a glimpse into the soul.

That is my why.

If that man knew now how much exploring I did because of the camera he once gave me and the stunning portraits came from it. 🥹

The little things you love about your family deserve to be remembered. The way they reach for your hand, their wild laughter, the way they curl into you.

We’ve been bringing more of those details into our family sessions, with a creative approach shaped around who you are together. Photographs that let you remember exactly how this chapter felt.

Come as you are. Let’s create something that feels like your family. 🤍 Message us to plan your session. by @christinegracephoto

I felt that Jess and Paul brought a little ’80s movie romance to Oakville. 🎾📼
Getting to know these two has been so fun! Once they told me they play tennis together, we had to make it part of their Oakville engagement session.
We also explored the area near the beach where Paul proposed, taking photos close to where that chapter began. A little nostalgia, some playful moments, and places that mean something to them.
Can’t wait to photograph their wedding day! 🤍

Kyle + Courtney. 🤍
A wedding day that felt like scenes from a film. Soft light, timeless details, quiet moments, and a little romance in every frame.
Whistle Bear Golf Club, beautifully.
Or even more minimal:
Scenes from Kyle + Courtney.
Soft light, stolen moments, and a love story that photographed like a film.

Hi!!

Thoughts of the day:

Some love doesn’t scream. It endures, even in silence. It carries us through the hardest of times, refining our spirit and teaching us that from brokenness comes something beautiful. In the quiet moments, we find our strength to rise again.

Can’t stop loving you. 🎶

An Italian afternoon kind of love 🤍
The kind that lingers between arches, espresso breaks, and quiet glances that say everything without trying. This session felt like Rome meets Milan — effortless, romantic, a little editorial, and deeply connected.
They moved through the city like it was their own—laughing, stealing kisses, pausing only long enough to savor the moment. Nothing forced. Nothing overdone. Just style, chemistry, and that timeless European ease where love feels cinematic and real all at once.
This is what I love most about engagement sessions like this:
not just documenting a chapter, but capturing a feeling.
The kind you’ll come back to years from now and still feel it in your chest.
Forever inspired by love that feels old-world and modern all at once ✨

Some weddings are beautiful.
And then there are weddings that you can *feel.*

Mik & Nic’s Italian wedding was exactly that. 🇮🇹🤍

From the quiet moments between the two of them, to the laughter around the dinner table, the incredible setting overlooking the water, the flowers, the details, the people who travelled from near and far — every part of this day felt intentional.

And that’s what I love most about wedding photography.

It’s not just about the dress.
It’s not just about the flowers.
It’s not just about the perfectly posed portrait.

It’s about remembering **how it felt to be there.**

The way his tears fell from his cheeks.
The way your family filled the table.
The little moments happening in the background that you didn’t even know were happening.
The atmosphere. The movement. The emotion.

Mik & Nic, thank you for trusting me to tell the story of your incredible Italian wedding. 🤍

And this day truly took an incredible team. I’m so grateful to have worked alongside such talented vendors who brought every detail to life:

It truly takes a village to create a wedding like this — and I feel so lucky to document it from behind the camera.

Because years from now, I want my couples to look at their photographs and not just remember **what their wedding looked like…**

I want them to remember **exactly how it felt.**

If you’re planning a destination wedding and want photographs that feel like **your memories, not just a collection of pretty pictures**, I would love to tell your story.

Okay… be honest. If you could get married anywhere in Italy, where would you choose? 🇮🇹👇
