Happy, Happy 15th Birthday to my gorgeous daughter, Lyla Grace, my quinceanera! ❤️ Wow, 15 years. I don’t even know how to put into words what it has meant to be your mama. Watching you grow into the beautiful young lady you are today has been one of the greatest joys of my life. You will never truly understand just how much God knew I needed you. He gave me you, and in doing so, He gave my life a love and purpose I never knew existed.I will never forget the day I gave birth and you were placed you into my arms for the very first time. You were so alert, with those big, beautiful brown eyes staring right at me. I can still picture that moment as if it were yesterday. I remember looking at you and thinking, I never knew a love like this existed. It was the most overwhelming, beautiful feeling I had ever experienced. But I also remember feeling scared, because in that very moment, I realized just how much you meant to me and how incredibly important my role as your mama would be.I made a promise to myself that day. I promised that I would do everything in my power to be the very best mother I could be. That I would always make you my number one priority, that I would think carefully and thoughtfully about every decision I made, and that I would always try to do what was best for you. I knew I wouldn’t be a perfect mama, but I promised myself that I would always be a mama who loved you fiercely, protected you, guided you, to never leave your side, and put my whole heart into raising you. And 15 years later, that promise is still just as important to me as it was the very first time I held you. From the moment you were born, you changed my world forever. And somehow, every year, I find myself loving you even more. Continued in comment by @christlann

Happy, happy birthday @nvanbo941 ! ❤️

By birth, you are my sister, but for most of my life, you had to step into the role of mom. From the day I was born, you were there for me, always doing your best to care for me and make sure I was loved, safe, and supported. When my parents weren’t in the right place in their lives to be the parents we needed, you stepped up without thinking twice and took on the responsibility of raising Paige and me. You didn’t have to, but you did, and that is something I will forever be grateful for. I know your life hasn’t always been easy, and I know you’ve had to make sacrifices that many people will never understand. But I hope you know that those sacrifices never went unnoticed. You are such a big part of the reason I am the woman and mother I am today. So much of how I love, how I raise my children, and how I show up for my family comes from the example you set for me.& even after all these years, you are still the person who is there at the drop of a dime for every single one of us. No matter what you have going on in your own life, you always find a way to show up for us. You are such a beautiful example of what it means to be a mother, a sister, and Gigi. I pray you know just how much you mean to me and our entire family. You’ve spent so much of your life taking care of everyone else, and I hope you always feel that same love in return. I hope you know how deeply you are loved, how much you are appreciated, and how much we all still need you.

We are ALL SO blessed to have you, and I truly don’t know what we would do without you. I love you more than words could ever express.

Happy birthday to you! ❤️💕 by @christlann

Where has the time gone?! Lyla is a freshman and Eric Jr is a 5th grader & my Carti baby is almost 2. My babies I pray you always know you make your mama so proud! ❤️🙏🏼 by @christlann

Happy Father’s Day to the BEST daddy in the world. Nothing you do ever goes unnoticed, your hard work, your sacrifices, and the way you pour everything you have into our family. You always give more than you take, and your love is felt in everything you do.

You work tirelessly to make all of our dreams come true, always putting our happiness and goals above your own. Because of you, our children know what unconditional love, dedication, and perseverance look like.

I pray every day that you truly know just how much you mean to me, to Lyla, to Eric Jr., and even to Carti. We are so incredibly blessed to have you as our husband, dad, and protector.

And selfishly, thank you for being my favorite sideline partner. There’s no one else I’d rather spend countless hours cheering on our babies with, celebrating the wins, navigating the hard moments, and making memories together.

We love you more than words can ever express. ❤️ Happy Father’s Day! ❤️ by @christlann

My baby boy turned 10 today, exactly how he loves, on the field, in goal. 🥅❤️

Happy 10th Birthday, Eric Jr! 💙

Ten years ago at exactly 7:40am, you came into this world so quickly and made the grandest entrance, just like you do in everything you take on in life. From that very first moment, you brought so much joy, love, and excitement into our lives.

Watching you grow into the strong, independent, and kind boy you are today makes me and your daddy so incredibly proud. Your confidence, determination, and the way you carry yourself stand out in everything you do, and you inspire us every single day. We thank God every day for you and pray that you continue to walk in faith, stay strong in who you are, and trust His plan for your life.

Your love for soccer is something so special to watch, you play with passion and confidence. And now seeing you take on basketball this year too… we love cheering you on every step of the way. No matter the field or court, you give it your all, and that’s what makes you truly amazing.

You are our greatest blessing, our pride, and one of the biggest joys of our lives.

We love you more than words could ever express.

What we get out of this?
A family that’s deeply connected. Children who feel seen, believed in, and supported. & we get THE JOY of watching them grow into who they’re meant to be.
This life may not make sense to everyone but it makes perfect sense to us! They’re thriving, we’re happy, that’s enough. ❤️🙏🏼 Lyla - doin her sports photography in the Tan sweatshirt. Jr - in goal in the neon green jersey by @christlann
