Can’t wait to take this thing to its first event ! by @chulo_ssv

Well we’re back on the trailer and ready to get this new motor in!

I know a lot of you have been asking questions and wondering what’s going on, it will all be ran through/talked about in depth when I have it home!

I have months worth of footage to put together and as mentioned this will be the start of my YouTube venture!

As always my stories are where everything’s seen first, so keep an eye on them over the upcoming weeks! by @chulo_ssv

Thought I better do a post update instead of stories!

We were at the final stages and about to do the final dyno runs when we noticed that there wasn’t something right.

The first issue we ran into was a leaking radiator in some of the welds that were done, so off the dyno it came and the radiator was sent off to get redone 💪🏾.

The second and main issue we ran into was finding out I had standard head bolts which was a red flag from the get go. We tried our luck and Dan knew something was up around the 4krpm mark, and he called it, the head would’ve blown if he went any further/harder, as well as knowing my bottom end would not handle the amount of boost we want to run through the charger.

This is just a brief run down, when I have the Ute back I will be doing a YouTube video going in depth on this build and what has been done/required. All I can say is if you need ANY work done do not go anywhere else. The team at @dpjmechanical_an_dyno are next to none ☝️

Stay tuned as the built engine is currently in the works 🙌🏾 by @chulo_ssv

This has been a long time coming!! I can’t thank the people involved enough. Watch this space 🙌🏾 by @chulo_ssv

Bit of an update as a post instead of stories!

The Ute is currently all prepped and ready to get towed out to the shop on Wednesday to have the final touches done. All that’s left to do is install the clutch, injectors, pin the crank, sort out belts properly and then tune!

All in all I’ve tried my absolute hardest to get this to @powercruisegup and I’m really cutting it close now. I don’t want to rush this kind of build though as I’m sure you all know. If all goes well 1-2 weeks max it should be tuned and back home ready for its first outing 🙌🏾 by @chulo_ssv
