📍elijah pies, tanjong pagar
absolutely loveee elijah pies! theyre cdc-friendly so our meal was practically free 😛 we also dropped by during their flower event, so we cld purchase and arrange our own flowers and it turned out sooo pretty 😍😍😍

🍋 yuzu meringue pie $8.90
keiramisu’s favourite ⭐️ it was not overly sweet, with just the right amount of tanginess and citrusy yuzu flavours~ the meringue was light and fluffy, balancing the sourness very well, and the buttery crust added a nice finishing touch 😋 overall a refreshing choice!

🍓 strawberry earl grey pie $8.90
yashieat’s favourite ⭐️ a new seasonal pie so we had to try! the sweet and fruity strawberry cream didnt overpower the earl grey flavours of the pie! the earl grey also added a subtle floral note and imo it tied together really well with the light strawberry cream 😍 earl grey/tea lovers wld definitely enjoy this!

🪻wild berry lavender pie $8.90
cicimunchie’s favourite ⭐️ a really great balance of fruity and floral flavours! the lavender flavour was very fragrant without being overly syrupy or tasting too much like flowers 🌸😅 the berry adds a light citrus note that cuts through the sweetness 😋 overall a very unique flavour and pulled off well too~

💐 iced strawberry earl grey drink + flowers bundle $23.90
died inside a lil when i saw the price so thank god for cdc vouchers 🤣 the strawberry earl grey was refreshing and not too sweet :3 the earl grey gave it a floral depth that paired really well with the strawberry syrup 🍓 had so much fun picking the flowers and making my own arrangement! and we were soso satisfied w the end result 💞

☕️ iced latte $6.50
an amazing & smooth cup of latte. 10/10 will reorder again 😌

checked out ssada gimbab w @cicimunchies 🤤 a casual korean spot in great world city 🇰🇷

⭐ skip or 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧 or revisit [𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐞]

we tried:
• 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒅 𝒓𝒐𝒍𝒍 𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒐𝒌𝒃𝒐𝒌𝒌𝒊 — noodles were very chewy and paired so well with the fish cake, a little on the spicier side but shiok ⭐️ really reminds me of the korean delivery tteokbokki i’ve had…
• 𝒔𝒐𝒇𝒕 𝒕𝒐𝒇𝒖 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒘 — hearty n comforting, spice level was just nice, with super smooth tofu that goes well with rice
• 𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒌𝒊𝒎𝒄𝒉𝒊 𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝒈𝒊𝒎𝒃𝒂𝒃 — packed with ingredients, goes well w tteokbokki sauce
• 𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒄𝒌𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒔 — refreshing soup, flavour has a good balance between sweet & savoury
• 𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒔 + 𝒔𝒊𝒌𝒚𝒆 — classic korean drinks 😋

overall a good spot if you’re looking for affordable, comforting korean food. they also have a pretty extensive menu!

Selegie Soyabean | 📍Upper Thomson Rd

ur traditional singaporean breakfast spot 🫶🏻 affordable, nostalgic and perfect for a morning with the fam 🌤️ here’s what we tried:

• walnut/blueberry/lemon muffin $2.30
• beancurd w peanut rice ball $3.10
• beancurd w tapioca cubes $4.40
• salted bun (ham chee peng) $1.40
• yellow bean fritter $1.40
• classic grass jelly juice $2.00

🧁 walnut / blueberry / lemon muffin $2.30
each so fluffy omg 🤤 the walnut one was incredibly fragrant, the blueberry paired so well with the soft crumb, and all three were just the right amount of sweet~ def worth getting a few to share!

🥣 beancurd w peanut rice ball $3.10
the beancurd was soo smooth 😍 not the biggest fan of peanut fillings rice balls but they were so soft and chewy~ a very comforting combo 🫶🏻

🧊 beancurd w tapioca cubes $4.40
same silky smooth beancurd, the tapioca cubes add the most satisfying chew 🤩 rly love the contrast of textures here~

🧋 classic grass jelly juice $2.0
super refreshing and thirst-quenching ☕ exactly what u need in the hot sg weather 😌

🍞 salted bun $1.40
suprisingly my fav item (apart from the beancurd)!!! 🌟 got a savory break amidst all the sweet things~ a good palate cleanser and the perfect balance to the rest of the spread 👍🏻👍🏻

🫘 yellow bean fritter $1.40
this is slightly heavier than the salted bun, felt that the sesame could be toasted ☹️ (love the crispy and chewy texture tho) could pass if you’re not a yellow bean lover

more bakes and beancurds~ they have beancurd puddings (in many flavours) too for a twist!

overall a very wallet-friendly bfast spot 🥰 and i highly recommend if u’re craving for some traditional beancurd! thank you @selegiesoyabean for the invite~ 🫶🏻

174bingo | 📍Joo Chiat
a zen little spot in joo chiat for your weekend coffee and bakes run~ 🍞🏃🏻‍♀️ here’s what i tried:

🥐 cinnamon swirl $7.0
super flaky on the outside yet soft on the inside 🤤 with a light saltiness that balances everything so well~ the honey glaze on top and bottom makes it so crispy and fragrant 🍯 comes with whipped mascarpone and a hint of orange zest for a lil texture 🍊 it’s on the sweeter and richer side so def better for sharing!

☕ ice white $6.5
coffee is on the more acidic side (wasn’t really my thing) but the milk was rly fragrant and it helped balance the sourness from the coffee~ 🥛

overall a rly cosy gem to stumble upon 🌿 perfect for a slow weekend morning~ ☀️

Cloudfields | 📍Havelock
super cute european-style cafe a 10 mins walk from havelock mrt 🌿 perfect for brunch or a lil date ✨ here’s what we tried:

🍝 seafood marinara $29
generous portions of seafood with linguine that had a nice springy texture :3 super fragrant and flavourful! slightly oily for my liking but overall still a solid plate of pasta 😋

🍳 cheeky potato benny $26
roasted pork jowl was slightly crispy on the edges yet so tender inside 🤤 paired well with gooey eggs, and the apple & mustard sauce on the side cut through the richness and balanced the dish so well~ def a highlight!

🍵 morning whisper $8
sooo refreshing 🥰 the tea was really fragrant, osmanthus added a lovely floral touch while the guava brought a light fruity sweetness 🌸 a lovely drink to start the morning with~

📍Enishi | International Plaza
my ult spot for jap dandan noodles!!! 🤤🤍 (michelin bib gourmand) revisited thrice for their dandan noodles and i’d do it again anyday 🍜

𝓭𝓪𝓷𝓭𝓪𝓷 𝓷𝓸𝓸𝓭𝓵𝓮𝓼 ($19.80++)
revisited thrice for their dandan noodles and i’d do it again anyday 🍜 super generous with the toppings (pickles, minced pork, shredded chashu, white diced onions, fried onions, mizuna & onsen egg) 🥰 love how they offer different vinegar options to cut through the grease of the noodles 🫙 gives free flow white rice to soak up the leftover sauce (salivating while i’m writing this caption 🤤) they also offer 3 level of spice to choose from!

defo worth a revisit (and a re-revisit) if u love a good bowl of dandan noodles! 🫶🏻

📍June Coffee | Joochiat
visited the sister cafe of september coffee on v’day 💘

𝓫𝓵𝓾𝓮𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓶𝓪𝓽𝓬𝓱𝓪 ($8++)
rly looking forward to their matcha and it didn’t disappoint ! 😆 matcha was very rich with a natural sweetness to it 🍵 the mellow blueberry jam complemented the matcha too 🫐

𝓻𝓸𝓼𝓮 𝓻𝓲𝓰𝓪𝓽𝓸𝓷𝓲 ($18++)
must try!!! SO GOOD we swept the plate clean 🤤 pasta was al dente and had a nice chew. sauce is creamy yet not too heavy and it had an umami that reminded us of chilli crab 🧐🦀

𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓻𝔂 𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓮𝓼𝓮𝓬𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓬𝓱 𝓽𝓸𝓪𝓼𝓽 ($18++)
fluffy bioche topped with strawberries and cheesecake custard 🍓the sour berry compote’s cuts through the sweetness of the custard rly well so it wasn’t too jelak 😋

defo worth a visit if u’re looking for a cafe that does both food and drinks well 🥰
