These are the days I dreamed of ✨🥰 by @cierramatthies
My babies are 18 months old today and I go back to work this week so I’m obviously sitting here scrolling through my camera roll sobbing 🤷🏻‍♀️ The last year and a half has been the most amazing, fun, messy, challenging, magical time of my life and I can’t believe it’s coming to an end. My maternity leave experience wasn’t entirely what I had envisioned that it would be before I found out that I was having twins, and there were definitely some moments of loneliness and wishing things could be “easier”. But these two babies (not really even babies anymore 🥹) have taught me so much and made me grow in ways I never could have imagined. For all the hard days there were also double the smiles, double the laughs, and double the love. Watching them become little people and form their own special bond with each other outweighs any extra struggle that twins add. I feel so incredibly lucky to live in a place where I was able to have these 18 months off just to be with them in a time where we all needed each other, and to have the most amazing husband/dad that worked so hard to make it possible too💛 The cliche about the days being long but the years being short has rang truer than anything, time is a thief. Anyways, thanks for reading my diary everyone, back to scrolling and crying 😢 by @cierramatthies
Spring so far: treating ourselves🍦, a family trip to Vancouver 🐠, messing around in a pottery class, lots of fun with friends big and small, and all the outside time in the sunshine ☀️ by @cierramatthies
