Rhysand & Feyre with their son Nyx❤️ I love them so much! They are such an iconic family and the best couple, High Lady and High Lord with their adorable son! Hope to see more happy moments of them as a family and ruling😍 They will always be my favorite love story❤️ by @cinematakes12
A heartfelt thank you to Jacob Tierney and Hudson Williams for truly giving substance to Shane Hollander and building him into a deeply authentic, complex human being on screen. By infusing Shane with the profound emotional depth, authentic vulnerability, and psychological layers that were so deeply missing in the original text, you have elevated his story into something truly beautiful. As a creator and performer, you didn’t just adapt a character; you breathed real life into his silent burdens, honoring his unique experiences with the dignity and narrative weight they always deserved. Looking ahead, I have immense faith that Season 2 will continue this beautiful trajectory, breaking entirely new ground to go even further than the source material ever did. Because The Long Game left so much of Shane’s development unfinished, I am full of hope that the upcoming season will boldly explore uncharted territory, diving much deeper into his intersectional struggles, celebrating his hard-won independent growth, and capturing the fierce, resilient nature of his love. Thank you for treating his journey not just as a romance, but as a powerful, front-and-center exploration of a man learning to prioritize his own life and stand in his own worth. by @cinematakes12
In The Long Game, there is a glaring disparity between how much text is dedicated to Ilya’s growth versus Shane’s. While Ilya receives a fully explored mental health, personal and professional journey, Shane is often sidelined in his own romance, stripped of individual fears, struggles, experiences, growth, and motivations outside the relationship. The book completely bypasses the unique, intersectional struggles of being a queer athlete of color in a white, heteronormative sport. On top of that, heavy traits like his anxiety, his insecurity & need to be perfect are introduced but never deeply explored, while his disordered eating is entirely brushed off as a strict performance diet, with zero exploration into his mental health, the burden to be perfect (POC exceptionalism) or its root causes. Even major milestones, like his team coming-out scene, were skipped on-page. True representation means treating Shane like a fully realized person rather than a diversity checklist. This is exactly why I absolutely loved how director Jacob Tierney added so much nuance and depth to Shane Hollander in Season 1. I highly hope that Season 2 delves even deeper to give him a proper arc, and I trust Jacob to treat Shane’s complex experiences with the exact same depth, importance, and screen time as its white characters, capturing both his struggles and his independent growth. by @cinematakes12
Would love to see Hudson’s take on this one once it drops, feels right up the alley of someone with such great taste in beautiful, auteur queer cinema. Honestly, I would love to see him star in a film like this one day; he has such incredible depth and presence as an actor, and he’d completely thrive in a gorgeous, sweeping artistic project like this. Counting down the days to La Bola Negra! From a stunning 16-minute standing ovation at Cannes to taking home the People’s Choice Award at TIFF, Los Javis have crafted an absolute masterwork. An epic queer triptych spanning a century of Spanish history and deeply inspired by the spirit of Lorca. October 16 can’t come soon enough! by @cinematakes12
I would absolutely love to see Hudson Williams cast in a deeply layered, character-driven dramatic film to completely show off his acting range. He has the perfect screen presence for a project that is either utterly heartbreaking or quietly tender, something with the devastating emotional realism of Celine Song’s Past Lives, the surreal heartbreak of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, or the romantic intimacy of Before Sunrise.Imagine him navigating the raw vulnerability of Call Me By Your Name, the heavy, haunting grief of Manchester by the Sea, or the isolated melancholy of Lost in Translation. He deserves a script with the complex, stormy dynamics of Beautiful Boy, the historical tragedy of Hamnet, or the brilliant, defensive emotional walls of Good Will Hunting. Hudson has so much untapped depth, and putting him in a quiet, masterfully written auteur drama would give us a career-defining, powerhouse performance. 🎬🎭✨ by @cinematakes12
Happy birthday Jacob! I wanted to take this opportunity to not only celebrate you today but to express my deepest gratitude for your incredible work on Heated Rivalry. To be completely honest, when I read the original book, I felt it lacked a certain depth. But what you did with the television series completely transformed the story for me. The show possesses a level of depth, nuance, and genuine care for the characters that far exceeds the source material. The way you chose to expand Shane’s character, combined with Hudson Williams’ absolutely brilliant, layered interpretation, gave him a profound internal life that wasn’t there before. Thanks to your vision and the creative space you gave Hudson to bring such authentic texture and sensitivity to the role, Shane has officially become my favorite character, and Heated Rivalry is easily one of my favorite shows of all time.I absolutely cannot wait to see what you and Hudson do next for the second season. Just like the first book, I felt The Long Game severely lacked depth when it came to Shane’s character and personal growth. Because of this, I am incredibly excited to watch you expand far beyond the books for Season 2 delving deeper into Shane and Ilya’s overall story. I have so much faith in your ability and Hudson’s to give Shane’s journey the complexity, nuance, and emotional weight it deserves this time around.Thank you for your masterful direction, your commitment to complex storytelling, and the absolute heart you pour into this universe. I hope your birthday is as phenomenal and special as the magic you bring to our screens. Have a wonderful day! by @cinematakes12
Julianne Moore’s performance in The Debut was nothing short of incredible! Ever since Julianne and Hudson Williams posted a picture together a few months ago, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about how phenomenal it would be to see them share the screen. Seeing Hudson star alongside a powerhouse actress like Julianne in a future project would be an absolute dream. Their combined talent, presence, and artistic chemistry would create something truly unforgettable, and that photo of them has had me manifesting this collaboration ever since. by @cinematakes12
After watching Hudson Williams on the “Making Waves” panel, it is so obvious just how deeply passionate he is about film and acting. Hearing him talk, you can immediately tell he cares immensely about the script, the art of storytelling, and the vision of the filmmakers and auteurs he chooses to collaborate with. He approaches his craft like a true artist, diving deep into the character work and bringing a rare level of thoughtfulness to every single detail. That dedication makes it incredibly exciting to think about where his career will go next. You just know that whatever project or director he aligns himself with in the future, it’s going to be something unforgettable and completely driven by artistic substance. Whether he takes on an intense indie role or a massive blockbuster, you just know his future choices are going to be ICONIC😍 by @cinematakes12
Seeing breakout star Hudson Williams and the versatile Robert Pattinson share the screen would be a cinematic masterclass in magnetic, unpredictable energy. Both actors possess a rare knack for navigating intense, complex internal struggles, making them a dream pairing for a dark, psychological thriller or a high-stakes indie drama. While Pattinson has masterfully evolved from a sudden global pop-culture phenomenon into a daring chameleon of avant-garde cinema, Williams has quickly proven his own formidable dramatic depth and intense screen presence following his explosive rise to fame. Having Pattinson serve as both a seasoned cinematic foil and a real-world industry mentor to Williams would create an undeniable, electric friction on camera, fusing Pattinson’s chaotic, calculated brilliance with Williams’ raw, captivating vulnerability. by @cinematakes12
Ever since seeing Hudson Williams and Chase Infiniti together at the Oscars, I can’t stop thinking about how perfect they would be co-starring in a movie. Someone make this happen! 😍❤️ by @cinematakes12
As a true cinephile, Hudson would absolutely love this film, and anyone who appreciates and loves queer cinema would undoubtedly want to hear his take on how this profound work shapes the landscape of LGBTQ+ storytelling.Fresh off winning the prestigious People’s Choice Award at the Toronto International Film Festival, La Bola Negra is a cinematic triumph that demands to be seen. Directed by the visionary duo Los Javis, this breathtaking, three-era Spanish epic weaves the lives of three generations of gay men, deeply inspired by an unfinished play by legendary poet Federico García Lorca. Featuring a staggering ensemble cast including Penélope Cruz and Glenn Close, it elevates queer history into a grand, visually stunning masterpiece by @cinematakes12
For Season 2, I hope the show deeply explores what it means for Shane to occupy space as a queer POC in a predominantly white sport, delivering the intentional character development that The Long Game left out. Rather than treating his struggles as an afterthought like the book did, the upcoming season has a vital opportunity to ground Shane’s narrative in the raw, intersectional pressures he faces daily. This means confronting the crushing burden of POC exceptionalism, his complicated relationship with food, and his profound locker room isolation, a stark contrast to Ilya, who benefits from a supportive team despite his own battles with depression. Fleshing out these internal, emotional, and physical battles is essential setup for his ultimate arc. When Shane finally stands his ground against a hostile, homophobic League and a threatening commissioner, it won’t just be an act of defiance. It will be a profound, hard-earned choice to prioritize his own worth, his life, and the man he loves over systemic prejudice, proving to queer POC viewers that our stories truly belong in every arena. by @cinematakes12
