This body is not me, I am not caught in this body.
I am life without boundaries. I have never been born,
and I shall never die.
Look at the ocean and the sky filled with stars,
manifestations of my wondrous true mind.
Since before time, I have been free.
birth and death are only doors through which we
pass, sacred thresholds on our journey.
birth and death are just a game of hide and seek.
So laugh with me,
hold my hand,
let us say goodbye,
say goodbye, to meet again soon.
We meet today.
We will meet again tomorrow.
We will meet at the source at every moment.
We meet each other in all forms of life.- taken from a sutra written by the buddha by @circesnow

First met Mickey same time I met @brycekanights. I remember it pretty clearly. Skate drive down from Eugene with Dave Pascoe @anita_sanford and Shawn Martin. We stopped in Fogtown skateshop 1985/6/7 No clue. Was it in Haight? So maybe not that clearly. I remember the naked women skull graphic which I can’t find anywhere online? This dude was always nice to me. 14 year old kid skating the streets of SF. Fort Miley, China Banks and Embarcadero and also the as the “agent” the business pariah. He was still cool and kind. I’m sure an absolutely incredible grandpa. A beautiful human being. We weren’t close but I know you were a good one through and through. Pouring one out for you tonight and shedding some tears of a good man gone too soon. ♥️ by @circesnow
Absolutely humbled by this generous gift from @burtonsnowboards. My relationship with the brand has had a lot of challenges over the years in the service of clients, it’s always a hard balance to strike. But in all honesty Burton has played a huge role in my life and career. My first “borrowed” board in 84! I rode was a red Woody so receiving this for their 50th feels very special. I also was on pro form flow with NW rep Daryl West and besties with @jkgilljkgill Craig’s sister during his hey day and now @oliviaa.kelly and Savina are part of our chosen family. I really respect the entire family’s commitment to the space and not selling out when they could have so so many times. Despite our sometimes tumultuous relationship I admit they have won me over with this one and will cherish this gift and appreciate their stewardship of snowboarding. 🏂 ps.
